Addis Ababa Cooperatives Sell Meat at 1,200 ETB
#ethiopia I Consumer cooperative butcher shops across Addis Ababa are offering beef at a subsidized rate of 1,200 ETB per kilogram in celebration of the 2019 Ethiopian New Year, according to the Addis Ababa Cooperative Commission.

​The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on city residents during the high-demand holiday season by offering an affordable alternative to soaring commercial market prices.

​Service delivery began early in the morning at 5:00 AM local time across cooperative butcher shops situated in all sub-cities of the capital. Official data from the commission indicates that residents are actively purchasing from these points, citing noticeable price reductions compared to private local vendors.

Ethio telecom, Djibouti Telecom, and Sudatel Group Advance Horizon Fiber Initiative with International Partners Through Pre-Commercialization Workshop

Ethio telecom, in partnership with Djibouti Telecom and Sudatel Group, has successfully hosted a high-level stakeholders' workshop to advance the pre-commercialisation phase of the Horizon Cross-Border Terrestrial Fiber Initiative. Formalized under a robust consortium framework, the secure corridor connects Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Sudan, offering global carriers and hyperscalers a highly reliable, low-latency alternative route for subsea cable traffic across the Red Sea.

Held in Addis Ababa, the workshop focused intensely on the commercial and technical requirements of the high-capacity terrestrial fiber corridor being developed across the region. Engineered with a fully protected, redundant architecture, the route seamlessly links cable landing stations in Djibouti and Port Sudan via Ethiopia, featuring expert network architecture insights from Ciena, Nokia, and BringCom.

The successful gathering convened leading global technology and connectivity organizations, including Google, Meta (via HIPConsult), Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Airtel Africa, Bayobab, WIOCC, Nokia, Ciena, center3, Saudi Vision, and China Mobile International. During these strategic sessions, participating partners and global operators expressed strong interest in leveraging and monetizing the multi-terabit capabilities of the Horizon Fiber corridor.

Jointly developed by the three telecom leaders, the Horizon initiative provides robust data transport, colocation, and hosting services with seamless landing access in Djibouti and Sudan. Designed for high-speed performance and resilience, Horizon empowers next-generation workloads like cloud computing, artificial intelligence, fintech, e-commerce, and digital content delivery.

Ultimately, this milestone showcases how pioneering African operators unite their infrastructure, expertise, and regional reach to shape a more interconnected and digitally empowered future for the continent.

Ethio telecom CEO and ZTE Senior Leadership Hold Strategic Discussions Enhancing Partnership to Accelerate Ethiopia’s Digital Transformation

Ethio telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamru hosted a high-level delegation from ZTE Corporation, led by its Executive Vice President and COO, Mr. Xie Junshi. The meeting evaluated the successful progress of the landmark Network Expansion and Modernization Agreement finalized during the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. This engagement underscores a shared vision for accelerating digital infrastructure under the company's Next Horizon: Digital & Beyond 2028 Strategy.

As part of the end-to-end network modernization in the ZTE circle, which encompasses 879 sites, 462 RAN modernization sites (which include LTE layering at 180 sites, LTE upgrading at 248 sites, and a full SWAP of 102 sites), 237 MW link upgrades, and 103 IP RAN site expansions were successfully completed. On top of this, the remaining scopes of the modernization program are under execution, which include 124 new sites, U2100 refarming at 272 sites, and 115 rural solution sites.

This rollout has significantly widened high-speed connectivity, pushing national 4G mobile population coverage to an impressive 92% in ZTE circle. These sites now serve as a robust digital backbone for the nation's evolving economy, enhancing connectivity for millions of citizens across Ethiopia.

ይህ አገራዊ የዲጂታል ዳሽቦርድ ይፋ የተደረገው የጤና፣ ልማት እና ፀረ-ወባ ማህበር (HDAMA) ከኢትዮጵያ ምግብ እና መድኃኒት ባለሥልጣን (EFDA) ጋር በመተባበር ባዘጋጁት ልዩ የመክፈቻ መርሃ-ግብር ላይ ነው፡፡

የዳሽቦርዱ በይፋ መከፈት በኢትዮጵያ የትምባሆ ቁጥጥር ፖሊሲዎችን፣ ስትራቴጂዎችን እና ሕጋዊ ውሳኔዎችን ሙሉ በሙሉ በምርምርና በፅኑ መረጃ (Data-driven decision making) ላይ የተመሰረቱ ለማድረግ ትልቅ አቅም እንደሚፈጥር ተገልጿል።

ቀደም ሲል በተለያዩ ተቋማት እና ተመራማሪዎች ዘንድ ተበታትነው ይገኙ የነበሩ መረጃዎች በአንድ ቋት መደራጀታቸው፣ ፖሊሲ አውጪዎችና የሕብረተሰብ ጤና ባለሙያዎች ትክክለኛ አገራዊ ስታቲስቲክሶችን በመጠቀም ፈጣንና ውጤታማ እርምጃዎችን እንዲወስዱ እንደሚያስችላቸዉ ተገልጿል።

የቋንቋ ተደራሽነትና የባለድርሻ አካላት ምክክር የዳሽቦርዱ ገጾች በአማርኛ ቋንቋ ተበልፅገው መቅረባቸው የመረጃ ተደራሽነትን ከመጨመሩ ባለፈ፣ ለመገናኛ ብዙኃን፣ ለተመራማሪዎችና ለመላው ህብረተሰብ የግንዛቤ ማሳደጊያ ቁልፍ መሳሪያ ሆኖ እንደሚያገለግል ታውቋል።

በማስጀመርያ ስነ-ስርዓቱ ላይ የተገኙት የየዘርፉ ባለድርሻ አካላት የዳሽቦርዱን መመረቅ ተከትሎ በስፋት ዉይይት የተካሄደባቸዉ ሲሆን በውይይቱም ዳሽቦርዱ የሚያቀርባቸውን ዳታዎች ለሕግና ፖሊሲ ማሻሻያ አግባብነት ባለው መልኩ ጥቅም ላይ ማዋል በሚቻልበት ሁኔታ ላይ አስተያየቶችን ተለዋውጠዋል።

ይህንን ጠቃሚ ዳሽቦርድ ወደ አማርኛ በመተርጎም፣ በማበልፀግ እና ለዛሬው ማስተዋወቂያ መድረክ የቴክኒክና የመረጃ ማዕከል ድጋፍ ላደረጉት የኢትዮጵያ የምግብ እና መድኃኒት ባለስልጣን፣ HDAMA፣ Development Gateway (DG) A Center for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA) እንዲሁም ለሌሎች አጋር አካላት ምስጋና ቀርቧል።

ግብፅ በፕሬዝዳንት አብደል ፈታህ አል-ሲሲ የሚመራውን ሜጋ ፕሮጀክት አካል በማድረግ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ከፍተኛ ትኩረትን የሳበውን አዲሱን የመከላከያ ሚኒስቴር ዋና መስሪያ ቤት "ኦክታጎን" (The Octagon) እውን አድርጋለች።

ከካይሮ በስተምስራቅ 45 ኪሎ ሜትር ርቀት ላይ በሚገኘው አዲሱ አስተዳደራዊ ዋና ከተማ ውስጥ የተገነባው ይህ ወታደራዊ ካምፕ የአሜሪካውን "ፔንታጎን" በቆዳ ስፋቱና በዘመናዊነቱ ለመብለጥ ታስቦ የተሰራ የስልታዊ እዝ ማዕከል ነው።

መዋቅራዊ ቅርጽ እና አርክቴክቸር
የመከላከያ ግቢው "ኦክታጎን" የሚለውን ስም ያገኘው ህንጻዎቹ ስምንት ጎን (ስምንት ማዕዘን) ባለው የጂኦሜትሪ ቅርፅ በመገንባታቸው ነው።

አጠቃላይ ግቢው 50 ካሬ ኪሎ ሜትር (ወደ 12,500 ሄክታር) ስፋት ያለው ሲሆን የህንጻዎቹ ቅርፅ የጥንታዊ ግብፅ (Pharaonic) የህንጻ ጥበብ እና የዘመናዊ ወታደራዊ አርክቴክቸር ቅይጥ ነው።

በግቢው ማዕከል ውስጥ በአጠቃላይ 10 ዋና ዋና ስምንት ማዕዘናዊ ህንጻዎች ይገኛሉ፡

8 የጦር ክፍሎች ህንጻዎች

እያንዳንዱ ህንጻ የተለየ የጦር ክፍልን (የምድር ጦር፣ የባህር ጦር፣ የአየር ጦር፣ የአየር መከላከያ፣ የቪአይፒ ጥበቃ፣ ልዩ ኃይል እና የሎጂስቲክስ ክፍሎችን) በገለልተኝነትና በተቀናጀ መልኩ ያስተዳድራል።

2 የማዕከላዊ እዝ ህንጻዎች

በግቢው መሃል ላይ የሚገኙት እነዚህ ሁለት ህንጻዎች የሀገሪቱን ከፍተኛ ወታደራዊ አመራሮች ቢሮዎች፣ የማዕከላዊ ስልታዊ እዝ እና አጠቃላይ የጦር እንቅስቃሴዎችን የሚያስተጋብሩ የቁጥጥር ክፍሎችን ያቀፉ ናቸው።

በውስጡ ያካተታቸው ዋና ዋና ተቋማት

ኦክታጎን ተራ የአስተዳደር ቢሮ ሳይሆን ሙሉ በሙሉ ራሱን ችሎ የሚንቀሳቀስ ዘመናዊ ወታደራዊ ከተማ ነው። በውስጡ የሚከተሉትን ቁልፍ መሰረተ ልማቶች ያካትታል፡

1. የስልታዊ ቁጥጥር እና የውሂብ ማዕከላት

የሀገሪቱን አጠቃላይ የደህንነት፣ የመገናኛ እና የሳተላይት መረጃዎች በዘመናዊ ዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂ እና አርቲፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ የሚቆጣጠር ዋና ማዕከል አለው።

በተጨማሪም የሀገሪቱን የሳይበር መከላከያ የሚያስተዳድሩ ከፍተኛ ጥበቃ የሚደረግላቸው የመረጃ ቋቶች (Data Centers) ተዘርግተውበታል።

2. የምድር ውስጥ አደጋ ጊዜ መጠለያዎች (Bunkers)

ከምድር በታች በከፍተኛ ጥልቀት የተገነቡ፣ የኒውክሌር፣ የባዮሎጂካል ወይም የከባድ መሳሪያ ጥቃቶችን መቋቋም የሚችሉ የቁጥጥር ክፍሎች እና የመጠለያ ጓዳዎች ተዘጋጅተውበታል።

3. ራስን የማስቻል አቅም

ካምፑ ከውጭ የሚመጣ ማንኛውም የኃይል ወይም የውሃ መሰረተ ልማት ቢቋረጥ እንኳ፣ ለረጅም ጊዜ በራሱ የፀሐይ ብርሃን ኃይል ማመንጫዎች፣ ግዙፍ የውሃ ማከማቻዎች እና የውሃ ማጣሪያ ጣቢያዎች ሙሉ በሙሉ መስራት የሚችልበት ሲስተም ተዘርግቶለታል።

4. የመኖሪያ እና የአገልግሎት ቀጠናዎች

ለወታደራዊ መኮንኖች እና ለሰራተኞች የተገነቡ ዘመናዊ የመኖሪያ ህንጻዎች፣ የታጠቁ የህክምና ማዕከላት፣ የስፖርት ስታዲየሞች፣ የመዝናኛ ስፍራዎች እና የሄሊኮፕተር ማረፊያዎችን (Helipads) ያካትታል።

ስልታዊ እና ጂኦ-ፖለቲካዊ ትርጉም

የዚህ ፕሮጀክት እውን መሆን በሰሜን አፍሪካ እና በመካከለኛው ምስራቅ ያለውን የወታደራዊ ኃይል ሚዛን ያንጸባረቀበት በርካታ ስልታዊ ምክንያቶች አሉት፡

ቀደም ሲል በታሪካዊቷ ካይሮ ከተማ ተበታትነው የነበሩትን የመከላከያ ክፍሎች በአንድ ከፍተኛ ጥበቃ በሚደረግለት ስልታዊ ቦታ ስር ማጠቃለሉ የውሳኔ አሰጣጥ ሂደቱን ያፈጥነዋል።

የቀደመው የካይሮው መከላከያ ሚኒስቴር ለከተማ ትራፊክ መጨናነቅ እና ለህዝባዊ አመፆች ወይም ጥቃቶች የተጋለጠ በመሆኑ፣ ወታደራዊ መሪያቸውን ከከተማ ሁከት ወደራቀና ሙሉ በሙሉ ወደተጠበቀ ቀጠና ማዛወር አስፈላጊ ሆኖ ተገኝቷል።

ፕሮጀክቱ በቢሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ዶላሮች እንደወጡበት የሚገመት ሲሆን፣ ግብፅ በስራ ላይ ያላትን የኢኮኖሚ እና የወታደራዊ አቅም ለቀጠናዊ እና ዓለም አቀፋዊ ኃይሎች ለማሳየት የተቀየሰ ትልቅ ፖለቲካዊ መልእክት ነው።

መድረኩ የብድር ብቃትን ለመመዘን አማራጭ መረጃዎችን (Alternative Data) በመጠቀሙ፣ መደበኛ የፋይናንስ ሰነድ ወይም መያዣ የሌላቸውን ስራ ፈጣሪዎችና አነስተኛ ነጋዴዎችን ተጠቃሚ የሚያደርግ ሲሆን፤ የሀገሪቱን የዲጂታል ትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅድ ለማፋጠን ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ ይኖረዋል ተብሏል።

"E.V.A.G.N" የኢትዮጵያ ሠዓሊያንን በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ሊያስተዋውቅ ነው
#ethiopia | የኢትዮጵያን የሥነ-ጥበብ አድማስ ለማስፋትና የሠዓልያንን የፈጠራ ውጤቶች በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ለማስተዋወቅ ትልቅ ጠቀሜታ ያለው "Ethiopian Visual Arts Global Network" (E.V.A.G.N) የተሰኘው ግዙፍ የመረጃ ቋት (Database) የማስተዋወቂያ ፕሮግራም ቅዳሜ ሰኔ 27 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም በሐገር ውስጥ የሚገኙ ሠዓሊያን በተገኙበት በታላቅ ድምቀት ተካሄደ።

ይህን ለአንድ ዓመት ያህል ሲደራጅ የቆየውን የመረጃ ቋት ያዘጋጀው በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ስር የሚገኘው **የአለ የሥነጥበብና ዲዛይን ትምህርት ቤት** ነው።

የዚህ ኔትወርክ እውን መሆን ለሥነጥበብ ባለሙያው ዓለም ዛሬ በደረሰበት የቴክኖሎጂ አማካኝነት በየትኛውም የዓለም ክፍል ከሚገኝ ባለሙያና መሰል የትምህርት ተቋማት ጋር ግንኙነት እንዲፈጥር እንዲሁም ሥራዎቹን በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ እንዲያስተዋውቅ ትልቅ በር የሚከፍት መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

የቴክኖሎጂው በስተጀርባ እና አስተዋጽዖ አበርካቾች
ይህንን ዘመናዊ የመረጃ ቋት የገነባው በትምህርት ዘርፍ፣ በሶፍትዌርና ሃርድዌር ቴክኖሎጂ፣ በስልጠናና ማማከር ላይ የተሰማራውና መቀመጫውን በኢትዮጵያ ያደረገው "INFNOVA Technologies" የተሰኘው የቴክኖሎጂ ኩባንያ ነው።

የኩባንያው ሥራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ልደቱ ታደሰ ስለ መረጃ ቋቱ ጠቀሜታና እስከ አሁን ስለተከናወኑት ሥራዎች ዝርዝር ማብራሪያ ለታዳሚው የሰጡ ሲሆን፣ ከተሳታፊዎች ለተነሱ ጥያቄዎችም ምላሽ ሰጥተዋል።

ይህን ፕሮጀክት እውን ለማድረግ ከአለ የሥነጥበብና ዲዛይን ትምህርት ቤት ጋር በመሆን ለአንድ ዓመት ያህል ሲያስተባብሩ የነበሩት ሠዓሊ ሳምሶን መረሳ በበኩላቸው፣ ለሥራው መሳካት አስተዋፅኦ ያደረጉ ግለሰቦችን በሙሉ አመስግነዋል።

በተጨማሪም በጀርመን አገር የሚኖረው **ሠዓሊ ግርማቸው የእንኳን ደስ ያላችሁ መልዕክቱን በድምፅ ለታዳሚው አስተላልፏል።

የሠዓሊያን ምዝገባና ጥሪ
የመረጃ ቋቱ ይፋ ከተደረገ በጥቂት ቀናት ውስጥ በርካታ የሐገር ውስጥና የውጭ አገር ኢትዮጵያውያን ሠዓሊያን ኔትወርኩን የተቀላቀሉ ሲሆን፣ እስከ አሁን ከሁለት መቶ (200) በላይ ባለሙያዎች ምዝገባ አከናውነዋል።

በማስተዋወቂያ ፕሮግራሙ ላይ የተገኙት ሠዓሊያንም በሙሉ በዕለቱ የኔትወርኩ አካል ሆነዋል።

በትምህርት ቤቱ አስተባባሪዎች የቀረበው ጥሪ እንደሚያመለክተው፦

* በሐገር ውስጥና በመላው ዓለም የሚገኙ የአለ ሥነ-ጥበብ ትምህርት ቤት ምሩቃን፣

* በሌሎች ተቋማት የሠለጠኑ ባለሙያዎች፣ እና

* የልምድ ሠዓሊያን በሙሉ፣

ማንነታቸውንና የሥራ ልምዳቸውን የሚገልጽ መሠረታዊ መረጃቸውን ከታች ያለውን ሊንክ በመጫን ወይም የተዘጋጀውን ባርኮድ ስካን በማድረግ ቅጹን እንዲሞሉና የዚህ ዓለም አቀፍ መረብ አካል እንዲሆኑ ጥሪ ቀርቧል።

ኮሌጁ የባለሙያውን ሰነዶችና የስራ አፈፃፀም በዝርዝር ከገመገመ በኋላ ይህንን ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ማዕረግ አፅድቆላቸዋል።

ፕሮፌሰር ሰለሞን አሊ በህክምና ምርምርና በማይክሮባዮሎጂ ዘርፍ በስፋት የሚታወቁ አንጋፋ ስፔሻሊስት ናቸው።

የምርምር ስራዎቻቸውም በዋናነት በተላላፊ በሽታዎች፣ በፀረ ጀርም መድኃኒቶች መላመድ እንዲሁም አዲስና ዳግም በሚቀሰቀሱ የቫይረስ አይነቶች ላይ ያተኮሩ ናቸው።

ፕሮፌሰሩ ባለፉት 20 ዓመታት በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሊኒየም ሕክምና ኮሌጅና በጅማ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ውስጥ በመምህርነት፣ በምርምርና በሕክምና አገልግሎት አገራቸውን በቅንነት ያገለገሉ ዓለም አቀፍ ተሞክሮ ያላቸው ምሁር ናቸው።

በማስተማር ስራቸውም በርካታ የሕክምና፣ የጤና ሳይንስ፣ የማይክሮባዮሎጂና የክሊኒካል ሬዚደንት የቅድመና ድህረ ምረቃ ተማሪዎችን አፍርተዋል።

እስካሁንም በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ እውቅና ባላቸው የምርምር መጽሔቶች ላይ 56 የምርምር ውጤቶችን ያሳተሙ ሲሆን ስድስት ታላላቅ ዓለም አቀፍ የትብብር የምርምር ፈንዶችንም ማሸነፍ ችለዋል።

በተጨማሪም ፕሮፌሰር ሰለሞን አሊ የሀገሪቱን የምርምርና የማይክሮባዮሎጂ አገልግሎት መሠረተ ልማት ለማጠናከር ከፍተኛ ሚና ተጫውተዋል።

በዚህም በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሊኒየም ሕክምና ኮሌጅ የመጀመሪያውን የጤና ምርምር መጽሔት፣ ዘመናዊ የተላላፊ በሽታዎች የዘረመል ምርምር ላቦራቶሪ፣ ለቀጣይ ጥናቶች የሚሆኑ ናሙናዎችን ለረጅም ጊዜ ማቆያ ማዕከልና የማይክሮባዮሎጂ መረጃዎችን በዲጂታል መንገድ የማደራጃ ሥርዓት መስርተዋል።

ፕሮፌሰር ሰለሞን አሊ በጤናው ዘርፍ ላበረከቱት የላቀ ሙያዊ አስተዋፅኦ በቅርቡ ከጤና ሚኒስቴር የ2018 ዓ.ም የብሔራዊ እውቅና ሽልማት መበርከቱ ይታወሳል።

After carefully reviewing her academic, clinical, research, and service achievements, the Board endorsed his promotion in recognition of his outstanding contributions to medical education, research, and institutional leadership

Professor Solomon Ali is a distinguished microbiologist and medical research specialist whose work focuses on infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and emerging/reemerging viral pathogens.
He has served his country for over 20 years at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and Jimma University (JU), contributing extensively to academic, clinical, and research activities.

Professor Solomon has trained, mentored, and supervised undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students, guiding numerous research theses. Throughout his academic and research career, he has published more than 56 articles in reputable international journals and has secured six major competitive international research grants. Prof. Solomon has also played a pivotal role in strengthening research and health service infrastructures.

He has established Millennium Journal of Health, the first scholarly journal in SPHMMC, Infectious Diseases Research and Molecular Laboratory (IDReaM Lab) with integrated bio-banking system, and digitalizing hospital microbiology service laboratory data management system through a DHIS2 based platform.

Recently, Prof. Solomon Ali received national recognition from the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia as the recipient of the 2026 Award for outstanding professional contribution in the health sector.

ነባር ተሽከርካሪዎች አዲሱን ሰሌዳ የሚቀይሩት በሚወጣው የጊዜ ሰሌዳ መሠረት መሆኑ ተገለፀ።

የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አሽከርካሪና ተሽከርካሪ ፈቃድና ቁጥጥር ባለስልጣን ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ዘገየ በላይነህ፣ አዲሱን  የተሽከርካሪ ሰሌዳ አተገባበር አስመልክቶ ዛሬ መግለጫ ሰጥተዋል።

በመግለጫቸውም የአገልግሎት አሰጣጡን ሂደትና ለነባር ተሽከርካሪዎች የተዘጋጀውን አቅጣጫ ይፋ አድርገዋል።

​ በሥራ ላይ ያሉ ነባር ተሽከርካሪዎች አዲሱን ሰሌዳ የሚቀይሩት የትራንስፖርትና ሎጅስቲክስ ሚኒስቴር በሚያወጣው  የጊዜ ሰሌዳ መሠረት መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

​  አዲሱ ስማርት ሰሌዳ በአሁኑ ወቅት እየተሰጠ ያለው   የተሸከርካሪ ታርጋ ለመዉሰድ  ተመዝግበዉ በመጠባበቅ ላይ ላሉ  እና ከዚህ በሁዋላ  አዲስ ለሚመዘገቡ ተሽከርካሪዎች መሆኑን ገልጸዉ ፤ ተመዝግበው ሰሌዳ በመጠባበቅ ላይ ለሚገኙ ተገልጋዮች  እንግልትና የጊዜ መባከን እንዳይኖር፣ ቀደም ሲል በተመዘገቡበት ቅደም-ተከተል መሠረት ከየቅርንጫፎቹ ጥሪ ሲደረግላቸዉ  መጥተው አገልግሎቱን እንደሚወስዱ አቅጣጫ ሰጥተዋል።

🔴 ቻይና ግዙፍ የዳታ ማዕከላትን በባህር ወለል ስር ማሰማራት ጀመረች፤ ባህሩ እንደ ተፈጥሯዊ ማቀዝቀዣ ያገለግላል!

የቴክኖሎጂው ልዕለ-ኃያል ቻይና የዓለማችንን የዲጂታል መሠረተ-ልማት አወቃቀር ሙሉ በሙሉ ሊቀይር የሚችል እጅግ አስደናቂ የፈጠራ ስራ በተግባር ማከናወን መጀመሯ ይፋ ሆኗል። ሀገሪቱ እጅግ ግዙፍ የሆኑ የዳታ ማዕከላትን (Data Centers) በቀጥታ በውቅያኖስ ወለል ላይ የማስቀመጥ እና ለንግድ አገልግሎት የማዋል ስራን በተሳካ ሁኔታ ጀምራለች።

የቃላት ጦር ወይስ የሰላም ድልድይ?

የኢትዮጵያ ሚዲያ ዛሬ የቆመበት አውድ ከታሪካዊ ስንክሳሮች ተላቆ፣ ለነገዋ ሀገር ግንባታ የሚሆን አዲስ ምዕራፍ እንዲከፍት የሚጠይቅ ወሳኝ መስቀለኛ መንገድ ላይ ይገኛል። የሀገሪቱ ወቅታዊ ጉዞ የሚዲያን እምርታና የትርክት ግንባታ ጥበብን እንደ ዋና መሪ ኮምፓስ መጠቀም እንደሚገባ ያመላክታል።

ኢትዮጵያ የተሰራችበት አፈር አንድነት ላይ ነው። እኛ ኢትዮጵያውያን በምንጋራው አፈርና ጭቃ ላይ መሰረታዊ ልዩነት የለንም። ሆኖም ችግሩ የሚጀምረው ይህ ጭቃ ተቦክቶ ቅርፅ መያዝ ሲጀምር ነው። ልዩነታችን የተፈጠረው ቅርፅ ከወጣለት በኋላ "ጀበናው ይርዘም ወይስ ሲኒው ይስፋ" በሚሉ የቅርፅ ሽኩቻዎች ላይ ነው። ይህም “የቆየውን አፈር አዲስ ሸክላ ሰሪ አይንቀውም” እንደሚባለው ነው፤ መሰረታችን አንድ መሆኑን ዘንግተን በውጫዊ ቅርፅ ላይ እንጣላለን።

የሚዲያ ተቋማት ለዘመናት ትኩረት ሲያደርጉ የቆዩት በዚህ የቅርፅ ልዩነት ላይ እንጂ ሁሉም እኩል በሚጋራውና መሰረት በሆነው የጋራ ማንነት አፈር ላይ አይደለም።

ህዝብ ለዘመናት በደምና በአጥንት የተሳሰረበትን ታሪክ በመበጠስ፣ ለአንድ ወቅት ግጭቶች ቅድሚያ መስጠት የሚዲያ ሰብዕናን የሚያጎድል የ"አርዕስተ ዜና ንግድ" ነው። ሚዲያው ቁምነገር ከማውጣት ይልቅ ጩኸት ላይ ብቻ መተኮር የለበትም። ጥልቀት የሌላቸውና ህዝብን የሚያጋጩ አርዕስቶችን መሸጥ ሀገርን ለከፋ አደጋ አሳልፎ መስጠት ነው።

ጠቅላይ ሚንስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ( ዶ/ር) እንዳሉት እውነተኛ ጋዜጠኝነት ከግል ጥቅሙ ገለልተኛ ሊሆን ይችላል፤ ነገር ግን ከሀገሩ ህልውና ገለልተኛ መሆን አይችልም። ሚዲያው ጥላቻ በተዘራባት ምድር ላይ ዳግም የጥፋት ዘርን ማሰራጨት ሳይሆን "እንዴት እናቅናው?" በሚል የፈውስ ጥበብ ላይ ማተኮር አለበት። “በቁስል ላይ እንጨት” እንደሚባለው ስንጥቆችን ከማስፋት ይልቅ የሰላም ድልድይ መሆን ይገባዋል። የቃላት ጦር ከመድፍ ባልተናነሰ ሀገርን የማፈራረስ አቅም አለውና።

ነፃነትን ማግኘት ስኬት ቢሆንም በኃላፊነት ማስተዳደር ግን የብስለት ምልክት ነው። “ካፈሰሱት አይታፈስ፣ ካመለጡት አይመለስ” እንደሚባለው፣ በሚዲያ የሚወረወር ቃል አንዴ ከወጣ ጉዳቱ የከፋ ሊሆን ይችላል። ነፃነትን ለሀገር ማፍረሻነት መጠቀም ነፃነትን ማርከስ ነው። በሚዲያ ስራ ውስጥ ህግና ሙያዊ ስነ-ምግባርን ማስጠበቅ የጥንካሬ መገለጫ እንጂ የነፃነት እጦት አይደለም።
