ሐረር በዩኔስኮ (UNESCO) በአንድ የዓለም ቅርስነት ዕውቅና የተሰጠው ሲሆን ይህም "ሐረር ጁጎል፣ የተመሸገች ታሪካዊ ከተማ" በመባል ይታወቃል። እ.ኤ.አ. በ2006 "ሐረር ጁጎል፣ የተመሸገች ታሪካዊ ከተማ" በሚል ኦፊሴላዊ ስም በዓለም ቅርስነት መዝገብ ውስጥ ሰፍሯል።

ይህ ስፍራ አንድ የዓለም ቅርስ ቢሆንም፣ ዩኔስኮ ለዚህ ቦታ "የላቀ ሁለንተናዊ እሴት" (Outstanding Universal Value) የሰጠው በሦስት ዋና ዋና የባህል መስፈርቶች (iv እና v) ላይ በመመስረት ነው።

1. ልዩ የሕንፃ ጥበብ ውህደት

ሐረር የአፍሪካ እና የእስልምና ወጎች ያልተለመደ ውህደትን ትወክላለች። የከተማዋ አቀማመጥ እና የ"ሐረሪ" ቤቶች ዲዛይን—በመሃል ላይ በሚገኙ ግቢዎች እና ውስጣዊ ግድግዳዎቻቸው ላይ በሚታዩ ውስብስብ እና ያሸበረቁ የእንጨት ቅርጻ ቅርጾች የሚታወቁ—በክልሉ ከሚገኙ ሌሎች የእስልምና ከተሞች የተለዩ ያደርጓታል። ይህም የኢትዮጵያ ደጋማ አካባቢዎች እና የሰፊው የእስልምና ዓለም ለዘመናት የነበራቸው መስተጋብር ውጤት የሆነ ልዩ ማንነትን ፈጥሯል።

2. ልዩ የሆነ የሃይማኖት ፋይዳ

ብዙውን ጊዜ በእስልምና አራተኛዋ የተቀደሰች ከተማ ተብላ የምትጠራው (ከመካ፣ ከመዲና እና ከኢየሩሳሌም በመቀጠል)፣ ሐረር ትልቅ መንፈሳዊ ማዕከል ናት። በከተማዋ ግንብ ውስጥ እጅግ በጣም ብዙ የሃይማኖት ስፍራዎች ይገኛሉ፦

ሦስቱ ከ10ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን ጀምሮ የቆዩትን ጨምሮ 82 መስጊዶች።

ለአካባቢው ቅዱሳን እና እስላማዊ ታላላቅ ሰዎች የተገነቡ 102 መቃብሮች (ሸሪዎች)።

3. "ሕያው" የሆነ ታሪካዊ የከተማ ገጽታ

እንደ ብዙዎቹ የቅርስ ስፍራዎች ሳይሆን፣ ሐረር የመካከለኛው ዘመን የከተማ አወቃቀሯን በመጠበቅ እንደ ዘመናዊ የባህል ማዕከል የምታገለግል "ሕያው" የቅርስ ከተማ ናት። በ13ኛው እና በ16ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን መካከል የተገነባው "ጁጎል" (የመከላከያ ግንብ)፣ አሁንም የድሮዋን ታሪካዊ ከተማ ይከብባል። ይህም የባህላዊ ማህበራዊ አደረጃጀትን፣ የመንገድ አቀማመጥን እና ቀደም ሲል ኢትዮጵያን ከአረብ ባሕረ ገብ መሬት እና ከዓለም ገበያዎች ጋር ያገናኙ የነበሩ ጥንታዊ የንግድ መስመሮችን ጠብቆ እንዲቆይ አድርጓል።

ሐረር በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ካሉ ዘጠኝ የዓለም ቅርስ ቦታዎች አንዷ ነች። ሌሎችም የላሊበላ ውቅር አብያተ ክርስቲያናት፣ የስምየን ተራሮች ብሔራዊ ፓርክ፣ የአክሱም ሥልጣኔ፣ የፋሲል ግቢ (ጎንደር)፣ የአዋሽ ሸለቆ፣ የታችኛው ኦሞ ሸለቆ፣ የቲያ ሐውልቶች እና የኮንሶ የባህል መልክዓ ምድር ይገኙበታል።

Harar is officially recognized by UNESCO as a single World Heritage site: Harar Jugol, the Fortified Historic Town. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2006 under the official name Harar Jugol, the Fortified Historic Town.

​While it is a single site, UNESCO’s recognition is based on three primary cultural criteria (iv and v) that define why it holds "Outstanding Universal Value":

​1. Unique Architectural Synthesis

​Harar represents an exceptional fusion of African and Islamic traditions. Its urban layout and "Harari" house designs—characterized by central courtyards and intricate, colorful interior woodwork—are distinct from other Islamic cities in the region. This creates a unique architectural identity resulting from centuries of interaction between the Ethiopian highlands and the wider Muslim world.

​2. Exceptional Religious Significance

​Often described as the fourth holiest city in Islam (after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem), Harar serves as a major spiritual center. Within its walls, the city contains an extraordinary concentration of religious sites:

​82 mosques, three of which date back to the 10th century.

​102 shrines dedicated to local saints and Islamic figures.

​3. A "Living" Historic Urban Landscape

​Unlike many archeological sites, Harar is a "living" heritage city that has preserved its medieval urban fabric while functioning as a modern cultural hub. Its "Jugol" (defensive wall), built between the 13th and 16th centuries, still encloses the historic old town, maintaining the traditional social organization, street patterns, and ancient trade routes that once connected Ethiopia to the Arabian Peninsula and global markets.

Harar is one of nine total recognitions in the country. The others include the Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, the Simien Mountains National Park, the Kingdom of Aksum, Fasil Ghebbi (Gondar), the Lower Valley of the Awash, the Lower Omo Valley, the Tiya Stelae, and the Konso Cultural Landscape.

#ethiopia | ሪያሊቲ ሪል እስቴት “ሪያሊቲ ይለያል - THE DIFFERENCE IS IN DETAILS” በሚለው መርሁ የሚታወቀው ድርጅት፣ በአዲስ አበባ የታሪክ፣ የንግድ እና የመዝናኛ ማዕከላት በሆኑ ቦታዎች አቅራቢያ የሚገኘውን “ሪያሊቲ ፒያዛ ፓላስ ቪው” ፕሮጀክት በዘመናዊ የአርክቴክቸር ዲዛይንና ዘላቂ የኑሮ ፅንሰ ሀሳብ እያለማ መሆኑን የሪያሊቲ ሪል እስቴት ባለቤትና CEO አቶ ዮሐንስ ገመዳ አስታወቁ።

አቶ ዮሐንስ አያይዘው እንደተናገሩት ፕሮጀክቱ በ4,000 ካሬ ሜትር መሬት ላይ የሚገነባ ሲሆን ከ70,000 ሜትር ኪዩብ ወይም 16 ሜትር ( አራት ቤዝመንት) በላይ የቁፋሮ ሥራ ተከናውኗል። በድርጅቱ የፋይናንስ አቅም ፕሮጀክቱን 300 ሚሊዮን ብር በማውጣት መጠነሰፊ ሰፊና የመሠረት ሥራዎቹ በብቃት መጠናቀቃቸውን አስረድተዋል።

ፕሮጀክቱ በከተማዋ ማዕከላዊ ክፍል የሚገኝ ሲሆን፣ ከአድዋ ሙዚየም 853 ሜትር፣ ከቸርችል ጎዳና 465 ሜትር፣ ከፍሬንድሺፕ ፓርክ 240 ሜትር፣ ከዩኒቲ ፓርክ 770 ሜትር እንዲሁም ከጥቁር አንበሳ ስፔሻላይዝድ ሆስፒታል 955 ሜትር ርቀት ላይ እንደሚገኝ አቶ ፍጹም ገብሩ የኮንስትራክሽ ቺፍ ኮንስትራክሰሸ ኦፕሬሽኝ ኦፊሰር
ገልጸዋል።

ፕሮጀክቱ ከሼራተን ሆቴል እና ከሊሴ ገብረ ማርያም ትምህርት ቤት አቅራቢያ መገኘቱ ለነዋሪዎችና ለባለሀብቶች ልዩ የቦታ ጥቅም እንደሚሰጥ አቶ ፍጹም አብራርተዋል።

የ“ፖላስ ቪው” ፕሮጀክቱ በቴክኒካል ጥራት፣ በዘመናዊ የግንባታ ቴክኖሎጂ እና በከተማ ገጽታ ላይ በሚያመጣው አዎንታዊ ተፅዕኖ ተለይቶ የሚታይ ፕሮጀክት ነው ያሉት ደግሞ ቴክኒካል ማናጀሩ አቶ ዳርዮስ ፍቃዱ ናቸው።

በፕሮጀክቱ ውስጥ አራት ቤዝመንቶች የታቀዱ ሲሆን፣ 8 ሜትር ስፓን ያላቸው የኮለም አቀማመጦች እና 7 በመቶ የራምፕ ተዳፋት በመጠቀም ሰፊና ምቹ የፓርኪንግ ሥርዓት እንዲኖር መደረጉ ገልጸዋል።

እንዲሁም 10 ሊፍቶች እና 4 የአደጋ መውጫ ደረጃዎች የታቀዱ ሲሆን፣ ሕንጻው የእሳት ደህንነት መስፈርቶችን በሙሉ የሚያሟላ መሆኑን ኩባንያው አስታውቋል።

በሜካኒካል፣ ኤሌክትሪካል እና ሳኒተሪ ሥርዓቶች ዘርፍም የኤሌክትሪክ እና የሳኒተሪ ዳክቶች ለየብቻቸው መዘጋጀታቸው፣ ዘመናዊ የካሜራና የኢንተርኮም ሥርዓት መካተቱ እና በቂ የአየር ዝውውር የሚያቀርብ የሜካኒካል ቬንቲሌሽን ሲስተም መዘርጋቱ ተጠቅሷል።

የሪያሊቲ ሪል እስቴት ባለቤትና CEO አቶ ዮሐንስ ገመዳ ፕሮጀክቱ በዘመናዊው Post-Tension (PT) Slab System ቴክኖሎጂ የተቀየሰ መሆኑ የተገለጸ ሲሆን፣ ይህም ሰፊ ስፓን ለመፍጠር፣ የግንባታ ፍጥነትን ለማሳደግ እና የስትራክቸር ጥራትን ለማሻሻል የሚያስችል መሆኑ ገልጸዋል።

ከከተማ ገጽታ አንፃርም፣ ሕንጻዎቹ ከ5ኛ ወለል ጀምሮ በመንታ ቅርጽ የሚይዙ ሲሆን ለአካባቢው ዘመናዊ የአርክቴክቸር ገጽታ እንደሚያበረክቱ አስታውቀዋል።

ሪያሊቲ ፒያዛ ፓላስ ቪው ፕሮጀክት ዘመናዊ የኑሮ ፍላጎቶችን በማሟላት 24 ሰዓት የጥበቃ አገልግሎት፣ ስታንድባይ ጄኔሬተር፣ ሰፊ ፓርኪንግ፣ የቆሻሻ ማስወገጃ ሥርዓት፣ ዘመናዊ ሊፍቶች፣ ጂምናዚየም፣ የመቀበያ አዳራሽ፣ ባለብዙ ዓላማ አዳራሽ፣ የኤሌክትሪክ ተሽከርካሪ መሙያ ጣቢያዎች እና የውጭ አትክልት ስፍራዎችን ያካትታል።

ዓለም አቀፍ ትኩረትን የሳበው የሐጀር አጭር ፊልም
#ethiopia | በደራሲና ዳይሬክተር ነፃለም አብዲ ተፅፎ የተዘጋጀው እንዲሁም በኢን ፊልምስ (IN Films) ወደ ስራ የተቀየረው ሐጀር የተሰኘው አጭር ፊልም በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ ከፍተኛ መነጋገሪያ መሆን ችሏል።

በዚህ የፊልም ስራ ላይ ከሃያ በላይ የሚሆኑ አንጋፋና ባለሙያ የኢትዮጵያ የሲኒማ ባለሙያዎች የተሳተፉበት ሲሆን የላቀ ብቃታቸውንም በተግባር አስመስክረውበታል።

የፊልሙ ታሪክ የሚያጠነጥነው ከ4,200 ዓመታት በፊት ነብዩ ኢብራሂም ሁለተኛ ባለቤታቸውን ሐጀርንና ጨቅላ ልጃቸውን ነብዩ ኢስማኤልን ይዘው ከተሰደዱ በኋላ አሁን መካ ከተማ የተቆረቆረችበት በረሃማ ስፍራ ላይ ትተዋቸው ወደተመለሱበት ታሪካዊ ወቅት ላይ ነው።

በሱዳን የሚገኘውን ትልቅ ሆስፒታል ጣሊያኖች በሚገነቡበት ወቅት ከፍተኛ የገንዘብ ፈንድ በማምጣት ረገድ የላቀ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክተዋል።

ባለቤታቸውና ልጃቸው የፕሮፌሰሩን ውርስና ሌጋሲ ለማስቀጠል፣ እሳቸው ሳይታተሙ የተዉትንና ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ጉዳይ በአምስት መቶ አምስት መቶ ገጾች የተቀነበቡ ሁለት አዳዲስ መጻሕፍትን ለሕትመት ለማብቃት እየተንቀሳቀሱ ይገኛሉ።

ፕሮፌሰሩ ኢትዮጵያን የመወደዳቸው ምዕራፍ የተገለጠው፤ የተጀመረው በባለቤታቸውና በልጃቸው እንደሆነ ይናገሩ ነበር። በዚህ መሠረት ቤተሰቦቻቸው በኢትዮጵያ ምድር በስማቸው ሙዚየም ለመክፈት አልያም በእርሳቸው የተሰሩ ሥራዎችን እንዲሁም ልዩ ልዩ ቁሳቁሶችን ለኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ሙዚየም ለማበርከት ሰፊ እንቅስቃሴ ላይ ናቸው።

In Memory of Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi

Italian scholar and human rights advocate

His wife, Mrs. Sara Yemane, and their son, Caleb Giorgi, are working to preserve and continue his legacy.
#ethiopia | The renowned Italian scholar, Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi (M.D.), who dedicated many years of his life in Africa and Ethiopia through his medical profession, authorship, and humanitarian activities, helping vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, passed away at the age of 81 on June 17, 2024.

During his distinguished 45-year professional career, Professor Bossi volunteered medical services across 42 African countries. He was a specialist in Orthopedics (bone and musculoskeletal medicine) and Dermatology (skin medicine).

He made a significant contribution to securing major funding for the construction of a large hospital in Sudan built by Italian organizations.

In Ethiopia, where he served for nearly twenty years, he played a key role in establishing Adama General Hospital and served as its first director.

Additionally, he worked as an orthopedic specialist at Danu Hospital and in the Emergency Department of Abet Hospital. Every year, he traveled from Italy to Woliso Hospital, where he provided extensive surgical services free of charge.

Professor Enrico was a true symbol of humanity, treating all people equally regardless of race, language, skin color, or religion. During the Kosovo War in Europe, he gave up an entire year’s salary to provide free medical services in the war zone. Likewise, during the Ethio-Eritrean War, he was among the first five Italian medical professionals who flew by helicopter to the conflict area to provide humanitarian assistance.

In Milan, Italy, he founded the medical center known as “NAGA,” where he provided free healthcare services to African immigrants and migrants from other countries, particularly those lacking legal documentation or financial means.

While many people refer to their homeland as their “fatherland” or “motherland,” Professor Bossi’s love for Ethiopia was so profound that he proudly referred to it as “the country of my son, Caleb.”

A dedicated researcher of Ethiopian history, culture, and military history, Professor Bossi authored and published more than 46 books in English and Italian.

His work helped introduce Ethiopia’s role as the birthplace of coffee to the wider world. He also authored historical works documenting the end of the Era of the Princes (Zemene Mesafint).

Professor Bossi was not only a scholar, physician, military officer, and author, but also a translator and artist. At the Catholic University of Milan, he translated and published The Little Prince in 55 international languages and contributed remarkable artistic and illustrative works.

Although death unexpectedly separated him from his beloved wife, Mrs. Sara Yemane, and his son, Caleb Giorgi, the remarkable legacy he left behind will remain alive far beyond his grave.

To preserve Professor Bossi’s legacy, his wife and son are working to complete and publish two previously unpublished manuscripts. These extensive works, each consisting of approximately 500 pages, focus on Ethiopian subjects and were left unfinished by the professor.

The professor used to say that the chapter of his love for Ethiopia was revealed—and indeed began—with his wife and his child. Based on this, his family is actively working either to open a museum in Ethiopia bearing his name or to donate his works, along with various personal artifacts and items, to the Ethiopian National Museum.

It is hoped that the Ethiopian Heritage Authority will undertake initiatives to honor and commemorate Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi’s life, work, and invaluable contributions to the nation and its people.

May his memory and contributions continue to inspire future generations.

Ethio telecom and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Review Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Ethiopia’s Digital Transformation and Next Horizon Strategy

Ethio telecom CEO, Frehiwot Tamru, held a high-level strategic engagement with Excellency Mr. Solomon Quaynor S, Vice President of the African Development Bank, together with senior AfDB management, to review the ongoing partnership and collaborative engagements aimed at supporting the execution of Ethio telecom’s transformative “Next Horizon: Digital & Beyond 2028” strategy and Ethiopia’s broader digital transformation journey.

ኡስታዝ ያሲን ኑሩ በንግግራቸው ላይ በተደጋጋሚ የሚያነሱት አንድ ትልቅ እና ጠቃሚ ነጥብ አለ፤ እሱም "ተስፋ" ነው። ለትውልድ "ሀገር ፈርሳለች፣ ዳስህን ጣል" ብሎ መንገር፣ ማኅበራዊ ሳይንስን፣ የሥነ-ልቦናን መርህ እና የአመራር ጥበብን ካለመረዳት የሚመነጭ እንደሆነ አበክረው ይናገራሉ። ነቢዩ ሙሐመድ (ሰ.ዐ.ወ) "ሰዎችን አብስሩ እንጂ አታስበርግጉ (አታስሩጡ)" እንዳሉት በማስታወስ፣ አንድ መሪ፣ ኃይማኖት አባት ወይም ተጽዕኖ ፈጣሪ ግለሰብ በማንኛውም አስቸጋሪ ጊዜ ውስጥ ቢሆን ለሕዝብ ተስፋን መዝራት እንዳለበት ይሞግታሉ።

እርግጥ ነው የተስፋ ሥነ-ልቦና ማኅበረሰብን ከመፈራረስ ይታደጋል። ዊንስተን ቸርችል በሁለተኛው የዓለም ጦርነት ወቅት ለብሪታንያ ሕዝብ ተስፋ ባይሰጥ ኖሮ ለንደን በናዚ ጀርመን ቦምብ ስትደበደብ ሕዝቡ ይበታተን ነበር። ማርቲን ሉተር ኪንግ "I Have a Dream" (ሕልም አለኝ) ባይል ኖሮ የአሜሪካ የጥቁሮች የሲቪል መብት ትግል ያን ያህል ተስፋ ባላገኘ ነበር። ኡስታዝ ያሲን ይህንን ሃሳብ ሲያነሱ፣ ትውልዱ ከድብርት እና ከማኅበራዊ የተስፋ መቁረጥ እንዲወጣ በማሰብ እንደሆነ ይሰማኛል። ይህ በበጎ ጎኑ ሊደነቅ የሚገባው የአንድ አባት እና የኃይማኖት መምህር የቅንነት ምክር ነው።

ነገር ግን የኡስታዝ ያሲን ኑሩን ንግግር ሙሉ በሙሉ ለመቀበል የሚያዳግተው፣ ተስፋን መዝራት ማለት እውነታን መካድ መሆን ሲጀምር ነው። ቴዲ አፍሮ በ"ዳስ ጣል ልቤ" ሙዚቃው ላይ እንዲህ ይላል፦

እኔ እንደሚሰማኝ ቴዲ አፍሮ እዚህ ጋር እየተናገረ ያለው ስለ ሥነ-ልቦና ውድቀት ሳይሆን፣ ስለ ፖለቲካዊ እና ማኅበራዊ የህልውና ቀውስ ነው። "ሀገር ፈርሳለች" ሲባል፣ ጂኦግራፊያዊ የሆነው መሬት ተንዶ አለቀ ማለት አይደለም። ይልቁንም፣ ሀገርን ሀገር የሚያሰኙት የሞራል፣ የሕግ፣ የፍትሕ እና የጋራ ደህንነት ምሰሶዎች ተናግተዋል ማለት ነው።

ኡስታዝ ያሲን "ሀገር አልፈረሰችም" ሲሉን፣ እውነታው ግን ዜጎች በገዛ ሀገራቸው ከአንድ ክልል ወደ ሌላ ክልል በነፃነት መንቀሳቀስ ያልቻሉበት፣ ማንነትን መሠረት ያደረጉ ግድያዎች እና መፈናቀሎች የተንሰራፉበት፣ በአስር ሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ እናቶችና ሕፃናት በየሜዳው የረገፉበት ዘመን ላይ ነን።

ባይተዋር ሰው ሆኜ እንደሌለው ሀገር"
ሲል፣ በአዲስ አበባም፣ በኦሮሚያም፣ በአማራም፣ በጋምቤላም፣ በቤንሺሻንጉል፥ በትግራይም፣ በሐዋሳም፣ በሶማሌ ክልልም በሐረሪም፣ በድሬድዋም ሆነ በሌሎች የሀገሪቱ ክፍሎች ዜጎች ላይ እየደረሰ ያለውን የመገለል እና የመግፋት ሥነ-ልቦና በትክክል ይገልጻል። ይህን እውነታ "ሀገር አልፈረሰችም" በሚል የፖለቲካ ማስታገሻ ለማለፍ መሞከር፣ የታመመን ሰው "ምንም አልሆንክም፣ ዝም ብለህ ተነሳ" እንደማለት ይቆጠራል።

ኡስታዝ ያሲን "ትውልድን አታስበርግጉ፣ ተስፋ ስጡት" ማለታቸው አግባብ ቢሆንም፣ ተስፋ ሊሰጥ የሚችለው እውነታውን በመካድ አይደለም። አንድ ሐኪም ለካንሰር ታማሚ "ምንም የለብህም" አይለውም፤ በሽታውን በግልጽ ነግሮት፣ የሕክምናውን ሂደት ካብራራ በኋላ ነው የሕይወት ተስፋ የሚሰጠው። አሁን የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ የሚያስፈልገው "ምንም አልሆንንም" የሚል የሐሰት ማፅናኛ ሳይሆን፣ የችግራችንን ጥልቀት አውቀን፣ በጋራ መፍትሔ የምንፈልግበት (መድሃኒት) መንገድ ነው።

የአሜሪካው ፕሬዝዳንት አብርሃም ሊንከን፣ አሜሪካ በእርስ በርስ ጦርነት ስትታመስ "A house divided against itself cannot stand" (በራሱ ላይ የተከፋፈለ ቤት ሊቆም አይችልም) ብሎ ነበር። ሊንከን ይህን ሲናገር "አሜሪካ ፈርሳለች" እያለ ማርዶ ሳይሆን፣ እውነታውን ለሕዝቡ እያሳየ ነበር። ቴዲ አፍሮም "ምሶሶው ዘመመ ጣሪያውም ያፈሳል" ሲል፣ ሊንከን የተጠቀመውን ዓይነት የእውነታ ነጸብራቅ ነው ያቀረበው። "አስራ ሁለት ሆና፣ አንድ ነብር ፈጃት... ዝምታ ለበግም አልበጃትምና" የሚለው የቴዲ አፍሮ ስንኝ፣ የዝምታን አደጋ፣ የሕግ የለሽነትን መዘዝ፣ እና ያለንበትን አሳዛኝ የሥርዓት ብልሽት ያሳያል።

ኡስታዝ ያሲን በንግግራቸው መጨረሻ ላይ የነቢዩ ሙሐመድን (ሰ.ዐ.ወ) አደራ ያነሳሉ። ነቢዩ "ኢትዮጵያን አትንኩ" ብለው አደራ ማለታቸውን፣ እና ኢትዮጵያ የፍትሕ ሀገር መሆኗን ያስታውሳሉ። ይህ ታሪካዊ እውነት ማንም ኢትዮጵያዊ የሚኮራበት ነው። የነጃሺ ፍትሕ የኢትዮጵያዊነት ማሳያ ነበር።

ነገር ግን ዛሬ ያ የነጃሺ ፍትሕ የት አለ? ዛሬ "ኢትዮጵያን አትንኩ" የሚለውን አደራ ያፈረሰው የውጭ ጠላት ሳይሆን፣ እኛው እርስ በርሳችን ነን። የነቢዩ አደራ የሚጠበቀው "አይዞን፣ ሁሉም ሰላም ነው" በማለት ሳይሆን፣ እውነትን በመናገር፣ ግፍን በማውገዝ እና ለፍትሕ በመቆም ነው።

ቴዲ አፍሮ
"ጀግኖች ሞተውላት፣ በመርዝ ጋዝ ነፍረው
ተንገብግበው በእሳት፣ ዘመን ተገላብጦ
እንዴት አቀርቅሬ፣ ባንዲራዬን ላንሳት" ሲል፣ ቀደምት አባቶች ያቆዩዋት ክብር ዛሬ መዋረዱን ነው የሚያነሳው። ባንዲራችን የፖለቲካ መጠቀሚያ፣ ማንነታችን የጥቃት ኢላማ በሆነበት በዚህ ዘመን፣ "ሀገር ፈርሳለች" ብሎ መገምገም ማኅበራዊ ሳይንስን ካለማወቅ የሚመጣ ሳይሆን፣ መራራውን እውነት ከመቀበል የሚመነጭ ነው።

ጽሁፌን ስቋጭ ኡስታዝ ያሲን ኑሩን ለሰላም፣ ለተስፋ እና ለአንድነት ያላቸውን ቀና አመለካከት አከብራለሁ። ትውልድን በተስፋ ማነጽ አስፈላጊ ነው። ነገር ግን፣ ቴዲ አፍሮ በግጥሙ እንዳስቀመጠው፣ አሁን ያለንበት ሁኔታ "የዳስ" (የሃዘን) ሁኔታ ነው። ሀገራችን በብዙ ፈተናዎች ታጅባለች።

የጀርመኑ ፈላስፋ ፍሬድሪክ ኒቼ "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how" (ለመኖር የሚያስችል 'ምክንያት' ያለው ሰው፣ የትኛውንም 'እንዴት' መቋቋም ይችላል) ብሎ ነበር። ኢትዮጵያውያን ተስፋ (ምክንያት) ያስፈልገናል። ነገር ግን ያ ተስፋ መገንባት ያለበት በሐሰተኛ ትርክት ላይ ሳይሆን፣ ስህተቶቻችንን አምነን በመቀበል፣ ፍትሕን በማስፈን እና እኩልነትን በተግባር በማረጋገጥ ላይ ነው።

"ዳስ ጣል ልቤ" የሚለው ጩኸት፣ የመጨረሻው የተስፋ መቁረጥ ድምፅ ሳይሆን፣ የማንቂያ ደወል ነው። ሀገር የምትድነው መሪዎቿ እና ተጽዕኖ ፈጣሪዎቿ "ምንም አልሆንንም" ሲሉ ሳይሆን፣ ዜጎቿ "እየታመምን ነው፣ ሕክምና እንፈልጋለን" ብለው እውነቱን ሲያወጡ ነው። ኡስታዝ ያሲንም ሆኑ ቴዲ አፍሮ በየራሳቸው መንገድ ሀገርን ይወዳሉ፤ ነገር ግን በዛሬይቱ ኢትዮጵያ፣ ቴዲ አፍሮ ያወጣው ዘፈን አሁን ካለንበት ተጨባጭ የፖለቲካ እና የማኅበራዊ ቀውስ ጋር ይበልጥ የተቆራኘ ነው።
