ከሰሀራ በታች ባሉ ሀገራት እንደ ድህነት ያሉ ማህበራዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ተጽዕኖዎች ለሞት ምጣኔው ከፍተኛ መሆን እንደምክንያትነት ይጠቀሳሉ።

በተጨማሪም በሰሃራ በታች ባሉ የአፍሪካ ሀገራት ደግሞ በቂ የህክምና አቅርቦት አለመኖር ተላላፊ በሽታዎች እና የእናቶችና ህፃናት ሞት ምጣኔ ከፍተኛ መሆን ዋና ምክንያቶች ናቸው።

በጦርነት ውስጥ ባሉ ሀገራት የሰው ህይወት ማጣት እና የጤና ተቋማት መውደም የሞት ምጣኔውን ከፍተኛ አድርጎታል።

#ethiopia | በአፍሪካና በኢትዮጵያ ለበርካታ ዓመታት በሕክምና ሙያቸው፣ በደራሲነታቸውና በሰብአዊ ድጋፍ ሥራዎቻቸው ደካማና ረዳት የሌላቸውን ወገኖች ሲረዱ የቆዩት ታዋቂው ጣሊያናዊ ምሁር ፕሮፌሰር ኮሎኔል ኤንሪኮ ፒዬሮ ቦሲ (ዶክተር) በተወለዱ በ81 ዓመታቸው ሰኔ 10 ቀን 2024 ዓ.ም. ተለይተውናል።

ፕሮፌሰሩ ለአርባ አምስት ዓመታት በዘለቀው ሙያዊ ሕይወታቸው በአርባ ሁለት የአፍሪካ ሀገራት እየተዘዋወሩ በበጎ ፈቃደኝነት የሕክምና አገልግሎት የሰጡ ሲሆን፣ በኦርቶፔዲክስ (የአጥንት) እና በዴርማቶሎጂ (የቆዳ) ሕክምና ስፔሻሊስት ነበሩ።

በሱዳን የሚገኘውን ትልቅ ሆስፒታል ጣሊያኖች በሚገነቡበት ወቅት ከፍተኛ የገንዘብ ፈንድ በማምጣት ረገድ የላቀ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክተዋል።

በሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያም ለሀያ ዓመታት ያህል ያገለገሉ ሲሆን፣ የአዳማ አጠቃላይ ሆስፒታልን በማቋቋም የመጀመሪያው ዳይሬክተር በመሆን ሰርተዋል።

በተጨማሪም በዳኑ ሆስፒታል፣ በአቤት ሆስፒታል ድንገተኛ አደጋ ክፍል በአጥንት ስፔሻሊስትነት የሰሩ ሲሆን፣ በየዓመቱ ከጣሊያን ወደ ወሊሶ ሆስፒታል እየመጡ ሰፊ የኦፕራሲዮን ሕክምና አገልግሎት በነፃ ይሰጡ ነበር።

ፕሮፌሰር ኤንሪኮ የሰውን ልጅ በዘር፣ በቋንቋ፣ በቆዳ ቀለምና በሃይማኖት የማይለዩ ፍፁም የሰብአዊነት ተምሳሌት ነበሩ። በአውሮፓ የኮሶቮ ጦርነት ወቅት የአንድ ዓመት ደሞዛቸውን በመተው በጦርነቱ መሃል በነፃ የሕክምና አገልግሎት የሰጡ ሲሆን፣ በኢትዮ-ኤርትራ ጦርነት ወቅትም በመጀመሪያዎቹ አምስት ጣሊያናውያን የሕክምና ባለሙያዎች ቡድን ውስጥ በመሆን በሄሊኮፕተር ወደ ስፍራው ያቀኑ ታላቅ ባለውለታ ናቸው።

በጣሊያን ሚላኖ "ናጋ" የተሰኘ የሕክምና ማዕከል በማቋቋምም አፍሪካውያንና የሌሎች ሀገራት ስደተኞችን፣ በተለይም የሕጋዊ ሰነድና የገንዘብ አቅም የሌላቸውን ወገኖች በነፃ ሲያክሙ ቆይተዋል።

ብዙዎች ስለ ሀገር ሲያነሱ "የአባት ሀገር" ወይም "የእናት ሀገር" ቢሉም፣ ፕሮፌሰሩ ግን ለኢትዮጵያ የነበራቸው ፍቅር ጥልቅ በመሆኑ ሁልጊዜም "የልጄ የካሌብ ሀገር" በማለት በኩራት ይገልጿት ነበር።

ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ታሪክ፣ ባህልና ወታደራዊ ታሪክ በርካታ ምርምሮችን ያደረጉት ፕሮፌሰሩ፣ በአጠቃላይ ከ46 በላይ መጻሕፍትን በኢንግሊዘኛና በጣሊያንኛ ቋንቋዎች አሳትመዋል።

ከእነዚህም መካከል "The History of Imperial Ethiopian Army" የተሰኘውና ለኢትዮጵያ ወታደራዊ ምርምር ማዕከል ያበረከቱት መጽሐፍ፣ "ደስታስ ይርስ ኤንድ ላይፍ 1892-1937" እና "Aethiopia la moneta Africana" የሚሉት ተጠቃሽ ናቸው። የቡና አመጣጥ ከኢትዮጵያ መሆኑን ለአለም ካስተዋወቁበት ስራቸው ባሻገር የዘመነ መሳፍንትን ፍፃሜ የሚያሳይ ታሪካዊ መጽሐፍ ይጠቀሳሉ።

እኝህ ታላቅ ምሁር ስኮላር፣ ዶክተር፣ የሚሊተሪ ኦፊሰር እና ደራሲ ብቻ ሳይሆኑ፣ በሚላኖ ካቶሊክ ዩኒቨርሲቲ "ትንሹ ልዑል" የተሰኘውን የሕጻናት መጽሐፍ በ55 ዓለም አቀፍ ቋንቋዎች በመተርጎም ያሳተሙ ተርጓሚና ድንቅ የቅብ ሥራዎችን ያበረከቱ ሰዓሊም ነበሩ።

ምንም እንኳን ሞት በድንገት ከሚወዷቸው ባለቤታቸው ወይዘሮ ሳራ የማነ እና ከልጃቸው ካሌብ ጆርጂ ቢለያቸውም፣ ያኖሩት ታላቅ አሻራ ግን ከመቃብር በላይ ሁሌም ሕያው ሆኖ ይኖራል።

ባለቤታቸውና ልጃቸው የፕሮፌሰሩን ውርስና ሌጋሲ ለማስቀጠል፣ እሳቸው ሳይታተሙ የተዉትንና ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ጉዳይ በአምስት መቶ አምስት መቶ ገጾች የተቀነበቡ ሁለት አዳዲስ መጻሕፍትን ለሕትመት ለማብቃት እየተንቀሳቀሱ ይገኛሉ።

ፕሮፌሰሩ ኢትዮጵያን የመወደዳቸው ምዕራፍ የተገለጠው፤ የተጀመረው በባለቤታቸውና በልጃቸው እንደሆነ ይናገሩ ነበር። በዚህ መሠረት ቤተሰቦቻቸው በኢትዮጵያ ምድር በስማቸው ሙዚየም ለመክፈት አልያም በእርሳቸው የተሰሩ ሥራዎችን እንዲሁም ልዩ ልዩ ቁሳቁሶችን ለኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ሙዚየም ለማበርከት ሰፊ እንቅስቃሴ ላይ ናቸው።

In Memory of Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi

Italian scholar and human rights advocate

His wife, Mrs. Sara Yemane, and their son, Caleb Giorgi, are working to preserve and continue his legacy.
#ethiopia | The renowned Italian scholar, Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi (M.D.), who dedicated many years of his life in Africa and Ethiopia through his medical profession, authorship, and humanitarian activities, helping vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, passed away at the age of 81 on June 17, 2024.

During his distinguished 45-year professional career, Professor Bossi volunteered medical services across 42 African countries. He was a specialist in Orthopedics (bone and musculoskeletal medicine) and Dermatology (skin medicine).

He made a significant contribution to securing major funding for the construction of a large hospital in Sudan built by Italian organizations.

In Ethiopia, where he served for nearly twenty years, he played a key role in establishing Adama General Hospital and served as its first director.

Additionally, he worked as an orthopedic specialist at Danu Hospital and in the Emergency Department of Abet Hospital. Every year, he traveled from Italy to Woliso Hospital, where he provided extensive surgical services free of charge.

Professor Enrico was a true symbol of humanity, treating all people equally regardless of race, language, skin color, or religion. During the Kosovo War in Europe, he gave up an entire year’s salary to provide free medical services in the war zone. Likewise, during the Ethio-Eritrean War, he was among the first five Italian medical professionals who flew by helicopter to the conflict area to provide humanitarian assistance.

In Milan, Italy, he founded the medical center known as “NAGA,” where he provided free healthcare services to African immigrants and migrants from other countries, particularly those lacking legal documentation or financial means.

While many people refer to their homeland as their “fatherland” or “motherland,” Professor Bossi’s love for Ethiopia was so profound that he proudly referred to it as “the country of my son, Caleb.”

A dedicated researcher of Ethiopian history, culture, and military history, Professor Bossi authored and published more than 46 books in English and Italian.

His work helped introduce Ethiopia’s role as the birthplace of coffee to the wider world. He also authored historical works documenting the end of the Era of the Princes (Zemene Mesafint).

Professor Bossi was not only a scholar, physician, military officer, and author, but also a translator and artist. At the Catholic University of Milan, he translated and published The Little Prince in 55 international languages and contributed remarkable artistic and illustrative works.

Although death unexpectedly separated him from his beloved wife, Mrs. Sara Yemane, and his son, Caleb Giorgi, the remarkable legacy he left behind will remain alive far beyond his grave.

To preserve Professor Bossi’s legacy, his wife and son are working to complete and publish two previously unpublished manuscripts. These extensive works, each consisting of approximately 500 pages, focus on Ethiopian subjects and were left unfinished by the professor.

The professor used to say that the chapter of his love for Ethiopia was revealed—and indeed began—with his wife and his child. Based on this, his family is actively working either to open a museum in Ethiopia bearing his name or to donate his works, along with various personal artifacts and items, to the Ethiopian National Museum.

It is hoped that the Ethiopian Heritage Authority will undertake initiatives to honor and commemorate Professor Colonel Enrico Piero Bossi’s life, work, and invaluable contributions to the nation and its people.

May his memory and contributions continue to inspire future generations.

Ethiopia's Diplomatic Influence on the Rise, Foreign Ministry Reports
#fastmereja | The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced that recent diplomatic activities have significantly bolstered Ethiopia’s international standing and secured its national interests.

In a press briefing today, MoFA Spokesperson Ambassador Nebiat Getachew highlighted that official visits by the Presidents of Burundi, Liberia, South Sudan, and Mozambique have confirmed Ethiopia’s growing regional influence. During these summits, agreements were signed to share Ethiopia's expertise in agriculture, the Green Legacy Initiative, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digitization.

High-level delegations from Europe and beyond have expressed strong interest in collaborating with Ethiopia in renewable energy, mining, and tourism.

Ethiopia’s April chairmanship of the AU Peace and Security Council was utilized to showcase the country’s leadership in AI development as a model for Africa.

Regarding recent attacks on citizens in South Africa, the government is monitoring the situation through its embassy in Pretoria, expecting local authorities to hold perpetrators accountable. Efforts also continue to support citizens in Saudi Arabia.

* ዓላማው፦ የወር አበባ ጤናን የተመለከቱ የተሳሳቱ አመለካከቶችን ለማስቀረት እና ለሴቶች ምቹ የሥራ አካባቢን ለመፍጠር አልሟል።

* ተጠቃሚነት፦ ውሳኔው እንደ ኢንዶሜትሪዮሲስ (Endometriosis) ያሉ ከባድ የጤና ችግሮች ላለባቸው ዜጎች ዕውቅና የሚሰጥና በሥራ ገበታ ላይ እኩልነትን የሚያሰፍን ነው ተብሏል።

​ሳራ ዶላታባዲ ፈረንሳዊ-ኢራናዊት የምስል ጥበብ ባለሙያ እና የመልቲሚዲያ ፊልም ሰሪ ናት። በልጅነቷ የኢራን እስላማዊ አብዮት እና የኢራን-ኢራቅ ጦርነት በህይወቷ ላይ ተፅእኖ አሳድሮባታል። እነዚህን ታሪካዊ ክስተቶች በልጅነት አይኖቿ ተመልክታለች። እነዚህ ትዝታዎች በምስል ጥበብ ባለሙያነቷ እና በፊልም ሰሪነቷ ላይ የራሳቸውን አሻራ ያሳረፉ ሲሆን፤ ስራዎቿ የግል ሕይወት (Microcosm) እና የፖለቲካው ዓለም (Macrocosm) የሚገናኙበት ነጥብ ተደርገው ሊወሰዱ ይችላሉ።

​ከቴህራን አዛድ የስነ-ጥበብ ዩኒቨርሲቲ (Azad Art University) ከተመረቀች በኋላ፣ ለአሥር አመታት በቶኪዮ፣ ፓሪስ እና ኒው ዮርክ በመስራት እና ስራዎቿን ለእይታ በማቅረብ አሳልፋለች። በኒው ዮርክ በሚገኘው ሃንተር ኮሌጅ (Hunter College) በስነ-ጥበብ የማስተርስ ዲግሪዋን (MFA) አግኝታለች። ለድህረ-ምረቃ መመረቂያ ጽሁፏ፣ ስለ ቤተሰቧ የሚያወሳ "Summer Light" (የበጋ ብርሃን) የተሰኘ አጭር ዶክመንተሪ ፊልም ዳይሬክት አድርጋ አዘጋጅታለች።

​በመቀጠልም "An Owl, A Garden and the Writer" (ጉጉቱ፣ አትክልት ቦታው እና ጸሐፊው) የተሰኘውን ዶክመንተሪ ፊልም የሰራች ሲሆን፤ ፊልሙ እ.ኤ.አ. በ2023 በቪዥን ዱ ሪል (Vision du Réel) ፌስቲቫል ላይ ለእይታ በቅቷል። ይህ ፊልም በቡሳን የፊልም ፌስቲቫል (Busan Film Festival) እና በሴንተር ፖምፒዱ ኤክስትራ ፌስቲቫልን ጨምሮ በተለያዩ መድረኮች እና ፌስቲቫሎች ላይ ታይቷል።

በተጨማሪም ፊልሙ በዶክ ሊዝቦአ 2023 (Doc Lisboa) "የመብት እና ነጻነት ሽልማት" (Rights and Freedom Award) እንዲሁም በ2024 በሞንትሪያል በተካሄደው ዓለም አቀፍ የኪነ-ጥበብ ፊልም ፌስቲቫል ላይ "ምርጥ የቁም-ምስል ሽልማት" (Best Portrait Award) አሸንፏል።

​በጋቦን ለሦስት ዓመታት በቆየችበት ጊዜ በሊብሬቪል (ሲሲባ) ዝቅተኛ ገቢ ባላቸው አካባቢዎች ትምህርትን ለማስፋፋት የሚሠራ መንግስታዊ ያልሆነ ድርጅት (NGO) ከመሰረቱት መካከል አንዷ ስትሆን፤ በአሁኑ ወቅት በኢትዮጵያ አዲስ አበባ ትኖራለች፣ ትሰራለችም።

ስለ ሀበሻ ቪው (habeshaview)

​በ2015 (እ.ኤ.አ) የተመሰረተው ሀበሻ ቪው (habeshaview)፤ ዋና መቀመጫውን አሜሪካ ቨርጂኒያ ያደረገ ሲሆን፣ በእንግሊዝ ለንደን እና በኢትዮጵያ አዲስ አበባ ቅርንጫፍ ቢሮዎች አሉት። በተጨማሪም በኔዘርላንድ የዳታ ማዕከል (Data center) እና የቴክኖሎጂ ልማት ቢሮ አለው።

​ሀበሻ ቪው ዘርፈ-ብዙ የሚዲያ፣ የመዝናኛ እና የላቀ ቴክኖሎጂ ኩባንያ ነው። ኩባንያው ለተጠቃሚዎች ምቹ የሆነ የኦቲቲ (OTT) ፕላትፎርም እና አፕሊኬሽኖችን በማልማት ደረጃውን የጠበቀ የመመልከት ልምድን ያቀርባል።

የሚያቀርባቸው አገልግሎቶችም የቀጥታ የዜና ቻናሎችን፣ የመዝናኛ ጣቢያዎችን፣ እንደ ፍላጎት የሚታዘዙ ፊልሞችን (Video On Demand)፣ ጨዋታዎችን እና የኦዲዮ ቻናሎችን ያካትታሉ።

በተጨማሪም ከዓለም ዙሪያ ከተውጣጡ የተለያዩ ስቱዲዮዎች የተገኙ ኦሪጂናል የሆኑ ፕሮግራሞችን በብዙ የቋንቋ አማራጮች፣ በተመጣጣኝ ዋጋ እና ያለፉ ፕሮግራሞችን መልሶ የመመልከት (catch-up service) አማራጭ ጭምር ያቀርባል።

​ሀበሻ ቪው ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ዓለም አቀፍ የፊልም አከፋፋይ ነው።

በአሁኑ ወቅት በኢትዮጵያ የተሰሩ ጥራት ያላቸውን እና ኦሪጂናል ፊልሞችን በመምረጥ፣ በአውሮፓ እና በሰሜን አሜሪካ ለሚገኙ ዓለም አቀፍ ፌስቲቫሎች እና የሲኒማ ቤቶች በማቅረብ ያስተዋውቃል።

በረጅም ጊዜ እቅዱም ከአፍሪካ አህጉር የሚገኙ ሌሎች ይዘቶችን በማሰራጨት በፓን-አፍሪካ የመዝናኛ እና የስትሪሚንግ ኢንዱስትሪ መሪ ለመሆን ራዕይ ሰንቋል።

~ እንዴት አንድ ፊልም ከ11 ዓመታት በላይ ልፋት ሊጠይቅ ይችላል?

አዲስ አበባ በገባ በጥቂት ዓመታት ውስጥ ስመ ጥር ሲኒማቶግራፈር እና ዳይሬክተር ኦፎ ፎቶግራፊ በመኾን ከፍተኛ ተወዳጅነትን ማትረፍ በቻሉ ፊልሞች ውስጥ እጁን ማሳረፍ ችሏል።

ለ አብነት ያህልም "አሸንጌ" ፤ "ቀይ ስህተት" እና የበርካታ ተመልካቾችን ቀልብ ለዓመታት መግዛት የቻለው "ስርየት" የተሰኘው ፊልም ከስራዎቹ መሐል ተጠቃሽ ናቸው።

ታምራት መኮንን አሜሪን አገር ኒውዮርክ ከተማ በሚገኘው ኒውዮርክ ፊልም አካዳሚ የሲኒማቶግራፈርነት ትምህርቱን ተከታትሎ በከፍተኛ ውጤት ለመመረቅ በቅቷል።

ለትምህርት በሄደበት አጋጣሚም ከእውቅ ፕሮዲዪሰሮች ጋር ተገናኝቶ እዚያው አሜሪካ ውስጥ ሲኒማቶግራፈር በመኾን ከተወሰኑ ኢንዲፔንደንት ፊልም ሰሪዎች ጋር እና Styles P ከተባለ ከተባለ አሜሪካዊ ዕውቅ ራፐር ጋር የሙዚቃ ቪዲዮ እስከ መስራት ደርሷል።

ታምራት በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ አገሩን የሚያስጠራ ፊልም ለመስራት አቅዶ ወደ አገሩ በተመለሰ ማግስት የቤተሰቦቹን እና የቅርብ ወዳጆቹን አቅም አሰባስቦ "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" የተሰኘ ፊልም ፕሮዲዪስ ለማድረግ ተነሳ።

ከ11 ዓመታት በፊት በአገር ውስጥ አቅም ከዚህ ቀደም ባልተደፈረ መልኩ በ5k የጥራት ደረጃ ቀረጻ ለማካሄድ መሳሪያዎችን እና ሙያተኞችን ማሰባሰብ ጀመረ።

የቅርብ ወዳጆቹ ዝነኛዋ ተዋናይት ረቂቅ ተሾመ እና ዝነኛው የፊልም ዳይሬክተር ሰውመኾን ይስማው "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" የተሰኘውን ፊልም ወጥ ድርሰት ጻፉ። እውቁ አርቲስት ተስፋዬ ወንድማገኝ በፕሮዳክሽን ዲዛይነርነት ቡድኑን ተቀላቀለ። በሰውመኾን ይስማው የዝግጅት መሪነት ታምራትን የተከተሉ ሙያተኞች በጥቂት በጀት ግዙፍ ህልም የያዘውን ፊልም ለማምረት ወደ ባህርዳር አቀኑ።

በደምስ አያሌም ተዋንያን መልማይነት፤ አንተነህ አስረስ ፣ ሚካኤል ሚልዮን ፣ ፍቅረየሱስ ዘውዴ ፣ ሃና ፀጋው ፣ ፍሬሕይወት ገረመው ፣ አቢቹ እና ሌሎችም በርካታ ተወዳጅ እና እውቅ ተዋንያን በታምራት መኮንን ሲኒማቶግራፈርነት እና ፕሮዲዩሰርነት "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" ፊልም ለመስራት ከዛሬ 11 ዓመት በፊት የባህርዳር ከተማን፣ የዘጌ ደሴትን እና ሰከላን ቤታቸው አድርገው ለወራት ከረሙ።

መቼቱን በአብዮቱ ዘመን ያደረገው "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" ፊልም በከፍተኛ የጥራት ደረጃ እና ጥበባዊ አቅም ከወራት ትግል በኋላ ቀረጻው ቢጠናቀቅም፤ ሙሉ ፊልሙን በታለመው አቅም አጠናቆ ወደ ተመልካች ለማድረስ ግን ለፍጻሜ የሚያበቃውን በጀት ማግኘት የማይታሰብ ሆነ። ቀሪ የፖስት ፕሮዳክሽን ስራዎችን ከአገር ውጪ ለመጨረስ የሚጠይቀው የበጀት መጠን በአንጻራዊነት በአገር ውስጥ አንድ ፊልም ሰርቶ ለመጨረስ የሚያስፈልግውን ያህል ነበር።

የበጀት ምንጮችን ሲያፈላልግ የቆየው ፕሮዲውሰሩ ታምራት መኮንን፤ ለጊዜውም ቢሆን መፍትሄ ሆኖ ያገኘው በአገር ውስጥ የሚገኙ የንግድ ተቋማትን ማስታወቂያዎች በመስራት ከእነሱ የሚያገኘውን ክፍያ ስራው ላይ ማዋል ነበር።

በዚህም ሰበብ የሃበሻ ቢራ፣ የአዋሽ እና ዳሽን ባንክ፣ የፔፕሲ፣ የኩል ውሃ፣ የአንበሳ ጫማ እና የድል ቀለምን ማስታወቂያዎች ሰርቷል። ታምራት ከእነዚህ ተቋማት ያገኘውን ክፍያ ወደ ሌላ ዘርፍ ከማዋል ይልቅ የፊልሙን ወጪዎች እየደጎመ ለዓመታት መታገልን መረጠ።

በዚህ መሐል ጀርመን አገር ሃምቡርግ ከተማ ውስጥ የሚገኝ በጅምር ላይ ያሉ ፊልሞችን በፌስቲቫሉ ላይ ለሙያተኞች አቅርቦ አሸናፊ ለሚሆን ፊልም የፍጻሜ በጀት ግራንት የሚያደርግ ፌስቲቫል የሚካሄድ መኾኑ ከአንድ ባለሙያ ሰማ።

ይህን ጊዜ ታምራት ተስፈኛ በመኾን ፊልሙን ፌስቲቫሉ ላይ ለማቅረብ የሚያስችል ዝግጅት አድርጎ ቅጂውን እንደያዘ ያልጠበቀውን መርዶ ሰማ። ፊልሙን የማስገቢያ ጊዜ ከአንድ ቀን በፊት አልፎበት ነበር።

በዚህ ጊዜ ይህንን ፌስቲቫል የጠቆመው የ"ልጄስ" ፊልም ደራሲ እና ዳይሬክተር ሰማኝጌታ አይችሉህም የደረሰለት።

ሰማኝጌታ በግሉ ባደረገው ንግግር የፌስቲቫሉን አዘጋጆች ቀኑ ያለፈበት ቢሆን እንኳ የምስሉን ይዘት ተመልክተው እንዲወስኑ አግባባቸው። ፈቃዳቸውንም ሰጡ። የፊልሙ ቅንጭብ ተልኮላቸውም ዐዩት። በፌስቲቫሉ ላይ እንዲቀርብም በይፋ ወሰኑ።

ታምራት መኮንን ለ11 ዓመታት ያህል የታገለበትን ፊልም ይዞ ወደ ሃምቡርግ አቀና።

ቅድመ ልየታውን አልፈው ከመላው ዓለም ከተሰባሰቡ 28 አገራት ጋር "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" አፍሪካን የወከለ ብቸኛ የኢትዮጵያ ፊልም ሆኖ ቀረበ።

"ሰኞ ዕለት የሌሎች አገራት ሙያተኞች ፊልማቸውን እያቀረቡ በዳኞቹ ፊት ቆመው ፒች (ገለጻዊ ሙግት) ሲያደርጉ የምገባበት ጠፋኝ..." ይላል ታምራት የገጠመውን ጭንቀት ሲያስረዳ።

"... ከኖርዌይ፣ ከብራዚል፣ ከአሜሪካ፣ ከፈረንሳይ፣ ከፔሩ፣ ከግሪክ እና ከሌሎች መሰል አገራት ከፍተኛ ጥበባዊ ደረጃ ያላቸው ፊልሞቻቸውን በዳኞች ፊት እያቀረቡ የእያንዳንዱ አገራት የባህል ሚንስቴር እና የፊልም ፈንድ አድራጊ ተቋማት በስራዎቻቸው እምነት አድሮባቸው ስላደረጉላቸው በጀት ድጋፍ በኩራት ሲናገሩ፦ እኔ ምን መናገር እንዳለብኝ ግራ በመጋባት ፈዝዤ ቀረሁ...

... በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ የሚቀርቡ ፊልሞች ከፊልም ሰሪው በላይ የሚወክሉት አገራቸውን በመኾኑ 'አገሬ አልወከለችኝም። ያገኘሁትም ምንም ድጋፍ የለም' ብሎ መናገር የሚያመጣው ትርጉሙ ምን እንደሆነ ግራ አጋባኝ...

... በማግስቱ ማክሰኞ ፊልሜን አቅርቤ ከዳኞች የሚቀርቡልኝን ጥያቄዎች ለመመለስ መድረኩ ላይ ስቆም ስለምናገረውን ነገር እርግጠኛ አልነበርኩም። ሆኖም ሃቁን ተናገርኩ። ፊልሙን የሰራሁት በቤተሰቦቼ መጠነኛ እገዛ በጓደኞቼ ከፍተኛ ርብርብ እና ማስታወቂያ እየሰራን ባገኘነው ገንዘብ ብቻ መኾኑን ተናገርኩ።

... ዳኞቹ ፊልማችንን ካዩ እና የኔን ገለጻ ካደመጡ በኋላ "The Father of African Cinema" ተብሎ የሚጠራውን ኦስማን ሲንቤንን በስም እየጠሩ፤ የሰራነውን ፊልም የደረጃ ከፍታ በአቻ ንጽጽሮሽ እያመሰጠሩ አድናቆት እና ምስክርነታቸውን ሲሰጡ፤ የኢትዮጵያ ሲኒማ በአፍሪካ ውክልና ደረጃ ከፍ አድርገው አድናቆታቸውን ሲቸሩ፤ ይሰማኝ የነበረው ስሜት እየሆነ ያለው ነገር ምናባዊ እንጂ ዕውናዊ መኾኑን እስከ መጠራጠር በመድረስ ነበር።" ሲል ታምራት የገጠመውን ድብልቅልቅ ስሜት ያስታውሳል።

"የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" ፊልም በ'ምርጥ ምስል' (Best Picture)፤ በምርጥ አጨዋወት (Best Performance) እና በምርጥ ጭብጥ (Best Theam) የፌስቲቫሉ አሸናፊ ከመኾን ባሻገር የቀረውን የፍጻሜ ስራ ሙሉ ለሙሉ እንዲያጠናቅቅ የሚያስችለውን European Work in Progress GRUVI Award አሸናፊ ሆኖ በድል ተወጥቷል።

በዚህም "የደሴቷ ጠባቂ" ፊልም የ30 ሺህ ዶላር (በግምት 4,345,680.00 አራት ሚልየን ገደማ) የሚያወጣ የፖስት ፕሮዳክሽን ፍጻሜ በጀት ግራንት አሸናፊ መኾን ችሏል።

ታምራት መኮንን "በቃ እዚህ ድረስ ነው የቻልኩት" ብሎ ተስፋ ሳይቆርጥ ለዓመታት ከጓደኞቹ ጋር የለፋበት ስራ "ስንነሳ ያሰብነው ዓለም አቀፍ የጥራት ደረጃውን ካልጠበቀ አላወጣውም!" በማለት ዛሬ ላይ ደርሶ ከእነ "ጤዛ"፤ "Lumb" ፤ እና "አትሌቱ" ፊልሞች በኋላ በታላላቅ ዓለም አቀፍ መድረኮች አገራችንን ዳግሞ የሚወክል ግዙፍ ስራ ይዞ መቅረብ የሚችልበት የተስፋ ብርሐን ወለል ብሎ ተከፍቶለታል።

በመጨረሻ የምትለው ነገር ካለህ ብዬ ጥያቄ አቅርቤለት ነበር፦

"ይሄ ፊልም ለዚህ ስኬት የበቃው፤ ይሄ ቀን እንደሚመጣ በባዶ ሜዳ በታያቸው ፊልሙ ላይ በተሳተፉ ባለራዕይ ጓደኞቼ እና መላው የፊልም ቡድን አባላት ምክንያት ነውና እንኳንም ትልቁን ራዕይ አመናችሁበት! እንኳንም ደስ ያላችሁ በልልኝ" ብሎኛል።

እኔም "የፊልም ሥራ የሚጠይቀውን ቀና ትብብር ላልነፈጉ ቅኖች፤ በድንቅ ትወናቸው ዘውትር ለሚያስደንቁን ከያንያን የአገር ልጆች፤ በድርሰት በዝግጅት እና በሁሉም የሙያ ዘርፍ ተሳትፈው ታሪክ ለሚሰሩ ብርቱ እጆች፤ እንዲሁም በግል ጥረታቸው የአገርን ክብር ዘውትር ለሚያስጠብቁ ጠቢባን ምስጋናም ደስታም ይሁን!!" ብዬ ልቋጨው።

አዲስ አበባ፣ ኢትዮጵያ፣ መስከረም 21, 2018 - ያንጎ ኢትዮጵያ ከ20 ዓመታት በኋላ በታላቅ ዝግጅት ተመልሶ ከመጣው አንጋፋው የኢትዮጵያ ድምፃዊ ጆኒ ራጋ ጋር "ውሃ እና እሳት" በተሰኘው አዲስ አልበሙ ላይ አብሮ መስራቱን በኩራት ያስታውቃል። ይህ አጋርነት በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ተወዳጅ ከሆኑ ድምፃውያን መካከል የአንዱን መመለስ ከማክበሩም በተጨማሪ፣ ያንጎ የአገር ውስጥ ተሰጥኦዎችን እና የባህል መገለጫዎችን ለመደገፍ ያለውን ቀጣይነት ያለው ቁርጠኝነት ያሳያል።

በያንጎ የኢትዮጵያ ተወካይ የሆኑት ዶ/ር ይቅናአለም አበበ ፕሮግራም ላይ ሲናገሩ፥ "የጆኒ ራጋ ሙዚቃ ሁሌም የኢትዮጵያን መንፈስ እና ነፍስ የሚወክል ነው። ለረጅም ጊዜ ሲጠበቅ በነበረው የድምፃዊው መመለስ ላይ ከእርሱ ጋር በመተባበራችን ትልቅ ክስተትን ከማክበር ባለፈ፣ ያንጎ የአገር ውስጥ ተሰጥኦዎች ማህበረሰብን በማነሳሳት፣ በማስተማር እና በማዋሀድ ባለው ኃይል ላይ ያለውን እምነት ዳግም እያረጋገጥን ነው። ይህ ትብብር ከመዝናኛ በላይ የሆነው ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር ያለንን ጥልቅ ግንኙነት እና ያንጎን የዕለት ተዕለት ሕይወታቸው አካል ላደረጉት አሽከርካሪዎቻችን፣ ደንበኞቻችን እና አድናቂዎቻችን ያለንን ክብር የሚያሳይ ነው" ብለዋል።

ጆኒ ራጋ በበኩሉ፥ "ከያንጎ ጋር ያለው ይህ ትብብር ስለ ዳግም መመለሴ አልበም ብቻ አይደለም፤ ፅናትን፣ ማህበረሰብን እና የኢትዮጵያን ሙዚቃ ጉዞን ስለማክበር ጭምር ነው። ላለፉት 20 ዓመታት፣ የኮንሰርት ጉብኝቶቺ እና የቀጥታ ስርጭት ትርኢቶች ወቅት ከጎኔ ለነበሩኝ ታማኝ አድናቂዎቼ ምስጋና ይገባቸዋል፤ በተለይም ለአርቲስቶች መብት እና በኢትዮጵያ የሮያሊቲ ክፍያ እንዲጀመር በምታገልበት ወቅት ከጎኔ ነበሩ። በ'ውሃ እና እሳት' አልበሜ፣ የተረጋጋ መንፈስን እና አስደሳች በዓላትን የሚተርኩ ታሪኮችን በማጋራት ለሙዚቃ ቤተሰቤ ውለታውን መመለስ እፈልጋለሁ። ከያንጎ ጋር መስራታችን ይህንን ራዕይ በየመንገዱ፣ በጉዟቸው እና በዕለት ተዕለት ሕይወታቸው ውስጥ ላሉ ሰዎች ይበልጥ ለማቅረብ ያስችለናል። በጋራ፣ አልበም ብቻ እያወጣን አይደለም፤ የሁላችንም የሆነ የባህል ክስተት እየፈጠርን ነው" ብሏል።

በዚህ አጋርነት ያንጎ የሙዚቃ አፍቃሪዎችን፣ አሽከርካሪዎችን እና ሰፊውን ማህበረሰብ የጆኒ ራጋን መመለስ በደስታ እንዲቀበሉ እና በ"ውሃ እና እሳት" አልበም እንዲዝናኑ ይጋብዛል። አድናቂዎች ከአልበሙ መውጣት ጋር ተያይዞ የሚኖሩ አዳዲስ መረጃዎችን፣ ልዩ ይዘቶችን እና ልዩ ዝግጅቶችን ለማግኘት የጆኒ ራጋን የማህበራዊ ትስስር ገጾች እንዲከታተሉ ጥሪ ቀርቧል።

ይህ ትብብር በያንጎ እና በጆኒ ራጋ መካከል ለረጅም ጊዜ በቆየው ግንኙነት ላይ የተገነባ ነው። ከዚህ ቀደም አርቲስቱ አሽከርካሪዎችን ስለ መተግበሪያው አጠቃቀም በሚያስተምር ተወዳጅ ማስታወቂያ (ጂንግል) ላይ ከያንጎ ጋር ሰርቷል፤ ይህም ልዩ የሆነውን የሙዚቃ ስልቱን ከተግባራዊ መመሪያ ጋር አጣምሮ አቅርቧል። ያ ሽርክና ሙዚቃ ማህበረሰቦችን በማገናኘት እና የአሽከርካሪዎችን ተሳትፎ በማሳደግ ረገድ ምን ያህል ከፍተኛ ሚና መጫወት እንደሚችል አሳይቷል። ይህ ደግሞ ያንጎ ፈጠራን ከባህል ጋር በማዋሀድ አገልግሎቶቹ ከአካባቢው ማህበረሰቦች ጋር ጥልቅ ግንኙነት እንዲፈጥሩ እና ለኢትዮጵያ የፈጠራ ኢኮኖሚ አዎንታዊ አስተዋፅኦ እንዲያደርጉ ያለውን ሰፊ ራዕይ ዳግም ያረጋግጣል።

The Shrouds
David Cronenberg's latest sci-fi-tinged drama stars Vincent Cassel as Karsh, an inventor who looks a lot like Cronenberg himself. Grief-stricken by the death of his wife (Diane Kruger), Karsh develops camera systems that can be buried with corpses, so that their relatives can watch them on monitors as they decompose. The invention catches on, but one night some graves containing these high-tech "shrouds" are desecrated, so Karsh and his brother-in-law (Guy Pearce) have to work out who was responsible. This may sound like the kind of scenario that the director of Scanners and The Fly might use to justify lots of gory body horror, but The Shrouds is a "restrained, even elegant" film inspired by Cronenberg's own bereavement, says Steve Pond at The Wrap. "It's a deeply personal look at loss that finds plenty of time to get creepy but never loses sight of the fact that it's a movie about grief… Its focus, which never wavers, is always on the feeling of loss, not the sight of gore."

On Swift Horses
Three of Hollywood's brightest young stars get together in On Swift Horses, a handsome period romance directed by Daniel Minhan and adapted from Shannon Pufahl's novel. Daisy Edgar-Jones plays Muriel, the fiancée of an upstanding Korean War veteran, Lee (Will Poulter). He is looking forward to a traditional family life in California in the go-getting 1950s, but when his younger brother Julius (Jacob Elordi) comes to stay, Julius's gay relationships and gambling sprees help Muriel to understand why she is attracted to women and drawn to betting on horse races. Graham Guttman at Screen Rant calls the film a "quietly devastating [story of] great pain and even greater love, all of which is portrayed beautifully by the film's all-star cast", adding: "On Swift Horses, with its sweeping romance and epic nature, feels outside of time, transcending any issues to become something deeply affecting." On the other hand, the BBC's Caryn James considers it "a disappointment [that] works much better as an idea than as a film".

The Legend of Ochi
On a remote island in Eastern Europe, fanged and furry monsters called Ochi lurk in the forests. A farmer (Willem Dafoe) is obsessed by hunting them, but when his shy teenage daughter (Helena Zengel) finds an injured baby Ochi, it turns out to be a big-eyed, pointy-eared beastie that bears a striking resemblance to Gizmo from Gremlins and Grogu from The Mandalorian. The girl then defies her father and takes the creature back to its family – a journey that is visualised using practical rather than digital effects. "The Legend of Ochi, the rare A24 family film, is a charming throwback to adventure movies of the 80s like The Neverending Story and The Dark Crystal," says Brian Tallerico at RogerEbert.com, "complete with original puppetry that reportedly contains not an ounce of CGI manipulation. It feels like a family film made by flesh-and-blood people in an era when computers are doing so much of the work."
