የጉዞ ማስታወሻ ( ክፍል - 2 )
#ethiopia |በኒው ዴልሂ በሚገኘው ብሔራዊ የዕደ-ጥበብ ሙዚየምና ሀስትካላ አካዳሚ (National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy) ዘለቅን። የብሪክስ ባዛር (BRICS Bazaar - ከመስከረም 10–15, 2026) እየተካሄደ ነው።

የብሪክስ ባዛር፦ ባህሎችን መቅረጽ፣ ሕዝቦችን ማገናኘት (BRICS Bazaar: Crafting Cultures, Connecting People) መሪ ቃል ይዟል። የንግድ ትርኢቱ በውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር እና በጨርቃጨርቅ ሚኒስቴር አዘጋጅነት የቀረበ ሲሆን፣ አማርኛ፣ ህንዲ፣ አረብኛ፣ እስፓንኛ፣ ፖርቱጋልኛ፣ ቻይንኛ ጨምሮ በተለያዩ ቋንቋዎች የተዘጋጁ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልእክቶችን ያካተተ ነው።

የቤንጋል መንደር ገጽታ (ምዕራብ ቤንጋል)
በ'ኩምሃር' (የሸክላ ሰሪ) ባለሙያዎች ማህበረሰብ ከተሰሩ የክሪሽናናጋር (ናዲያ ዞን) የሸክላ ምስሎች፣ ከሳርና የቀርከሃ ጎጆዎች እንዲሁም ከጌጣጌጥ ስራዎች ጋር የገጠር ሕይወትን ያሳያል።

የኪንሃል አሻንጉሊቶች (ካርናታካ)
ከኪንሃል የመጡ በእጅ በእንጨት የተቀረጹ አሻንጉሊቶች ሲሆኑ፣ በኮምጣጤ ፍሬ የተወለወሉና በደማቅ የከለር ቀለም የተሸለሙ ናቸው፤ በታሪክ ለሙሽሮች በስጦታ መልክ ይሰጡ ነበር።

የፓታቺትራ ስዕል (ኦዲሻ)፦ ከፑሪ፣ ራጉራጅፑር እና ቡባኔስዋር የመነጨ ባህላዊ የጨርቅ ላይ ስዕል (ፓታ + ቺትራ) ሲሆን፣ ከራማያና፣ ማሃባራታ እና ባጋቫታ ታሪኮችን ያቀርባል።

የናጋ ጥበብ (ናጋላንድ / ሰሜን-ምስራቅ ህንድ)፦ የጎሳ ባህል ያላቸው የእንጨት የቀደመ አባቶች ምስሎች፣ የተሸመኑ የሸንበቆና ቀርከሃ ቅርጫቶች፣ እንዲሁም በዐጥንት፣ ቀንድ እና ፀጉር ያጌጡ የትንባሆ ማጫሻዎች፣ ጦሮች እና ባርኔጣዎች ናቸው።

የፓቡጂ ፋድ (Phad of Pabuji - ራጃስታን)

በታጠበ የጥጥ ጨርቅ ላይ የሚሳሉ የመጠቅለያ (ስክሮል) ስዕሎች ሲሆኑ፣ በ13ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን በምዕራብ ራጃስታን ኮሉ (ማርዋር) ይኖር የነበረውን የፓቡጂ የተባለ የህዝብ ጀግና ህይወትና ተረቶች ያሳያሉ።

ታሪኩ ሙሉ ሌሊት በሚከናወኑ ስነ-ስርዓቶች ላይ 'ቦፓስ' (ከናያክ ማህበረሰብ የተወጣጡ ዘማሪዎች) በትልልቅ የሸክላ ማማዎች እየታጀቡ 'ፓቡጂ ራ ፓንዋራ' የተሰኙ የጀግንነት ዜማዎችን ሲዘምሩ ይተረካል።

ስዕሎቹ በቢልዋራ (ሜዋር) ሻህፑራ በሚገኙ የ'ጆሺ' ቤተሰብ ባለሙያዎች ብቻ የሚሳሉ ሲሆን፣ ጨርቁን አዘጋጅተው መልካም ቀን በመጠበቅ በባህላዊ ተፈጥሯዊ ቀለሞች ይስሏቸዋል።

የዶክራ ብረታ ብረት ዕደ-ጥበብ (Dhokra Metal Craft - ቻቲስጋርህ እና ማዕከላዊ/ምስራቅ ህንድ) ጥበብ ማውጋት ቀጠለች።

በሸክላ ቅርጾች ላይ በሚቀልጥ ሰም (cire perdue) የሚሰራ የ5,000 ዓመታት ዕድሜ ያለው የብረት ማቅለጥና ማፍሰስ ጥበብ ሲሆን፣ የተጠላለፈ ወይም የተጠቀለለ የላይኛው ገጽታ ቅርፅ በመያዙ ይታወቃል።

በቻቲስጋርህ (ባስታር)፣ ኦዲሻ፣ ጃርካንድ፣ ምዕራብ ቤንጋል እና አንድራ ፕራዴሽ ባሉ ከፊል-ዘላን የጎሳ ብረት ሰሪዎች የተሰራ ሲሆን፣ የእህል መለኪያ ማሰሮዎችን፣ የከብት ቃጭሎችን እና የነሐስ የጎሳ ምስሎችን (እንደ ከአደን የሚመለሱ አደንኞችን ምስል) ያመርታሉ።

የኮንድሃ / ኮንድ ነሐስ ስራዎች
(Kondha Bronzes - ኦዲሻ)

በኦዲሻ የራያጋዳ እና ጋጃፓቲ ዞኖች በሚኖሩ የኮንድሃ (ዶንጋሪያ ኮንድሃ) የጎሳ ቡድኖች በብረት ሰሪዎች ለዘመናት የተከናወነ የነሐስ ማፍሰስ ጥበብ ነው።

ሙሉ በሙሉ በማፍሰስና ሰም በማቅለጥ ቴክኒኮች ለ'ዳራኒ ፔኑ' (የምድር አምላክ) የመስዋዕት ስጦታዎች፣ የክብረ-በዓል ምልክቶች፣ የተለያዩ ቅርሶች እና በስጦታ (ሚዜ) የሚሰጡ አሻንጉሊቶችን ለመስራት ያገለግላል።

የካርናታካ የቡታ እምነት ቅርጻ ቅርጾች
(Bhuta Cult Sculptures - ካርናታካ)

በባህር ዳርቻይቱ ካርናታካ ኡዱፒ ዞን ከ19ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን የመጡ በእንጨት የተቀረጹ ምስሎችና የነሐስ ጭንብሎች ሲሆኑ፣ ከ'ቡታራዳኔ' (የመንፈስ አምልኮ ስነ-ስርዓት) ጋር የተያያዙ ናቸው።

በ'ጉዲጋር' የእደ-ጥበብ ማህበረሰብ ከጽኑ የጃክፍሩት እንጨት የሚቀረጹ ሲሆን፣ እንደ 'ፓንጁርሊ' (የዱር አሳማ መንፈስ)፣ 'ፒሊቻንዲ' (የነብር መንፈስ)፣ 'ጁማዲ' እና እንደ 'ኮቲ እና ቼናያ' ያሉ የአባቶች ጀግኖችን ይወክላሉ።

በሰሜን ቢሃር የሚቲላ አካባቢ የሚገኝ ጥንታዊና መስመራዊ የህዝብ ስዕል ዘይቤ ሲሆን፣ በባህላዊ መልኩ በመንደር ሴቶች በግድግዳዎችና ወለሎች ላይ ይሳላል።

'ኮህባርቺትራ' (ለአዲስ ተጋቢዎች የመኝታ ክፍል ግድግዳ ስዕል) እና 'አሪፓና' (ለስለትና ባህላዊ ስነ-ስርዓቶች የሚሰራ የወለል ጌጣጌጥ) የሚያካትት ሲሆን፣ በአሁኑ ጊዜ በወረቀትና በሸራ ላይ ይሰራል።

ጠቅላላ የብረታ ብረት ዕደ-ጥበብ

ከዕለት ተዕለት ቁሳቁሶች፣ የማስቀመጫ ሳጥኖችና የአልጋ እግሮች እስከ ባህላዊ ምስሎችና የወፍ እና የእንስሳት ቅርጽ ያላቸው የሱፓሪ መቁረጫዎች (sarota) ድረስ ያሉትን ባህላዊ የህንድ የነሐስና የብረት ጥበቦችን ያጎላል።

ኢትዮጵያውያን የእደ ጥበብ ባለሙያዎች በBRICS Bazaar 2026 ላይ ተሳትፈዋል

በሕንድ ኒው ዴልሂ በሚገኘው ብሔራዊ የእደ ጥበብ ሙዚየም እና ሀስትካላ አካዳሚ (National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy) ከመስከረም 10 እስከ 15 ቀን 2026 እየተካሄደ ባለው BRICS Bazaar 2026 ላይ ኢትዮጵያውያን የእደ ጥበብ ባለሙያዎች ሀገራቸውን ወክለው ተሳትፈዋል።

ዝግጅቱ “Crafting Cultures, Connecting People” — “ባህሎችን መቅረጽ፣ ሕዝቦችን ማገናኘት” በሚል መሪ ቃል የተዘጋጀ ሲሆን፣ የተለያዩ የBRICS አገራትን ባህላዊ የእደ ጥበብ፣ ፋሽን፣ ጨርቃ ጨርቅ፣ ሸክላ ስራ እና ሌሎች ባህላዊ የእጅ ሥራዎችን ለዓለም አቀፍ ጎብኚዎች ያስተዋውቃል።

ከኢትዮጵያ በHandweaving – የእጅ ጨርቃ ጨርቅ ሥራ የተሳተፈችው እጅጋየሁ ኃይለጊዮርጊስ አራርሶ የፋሽን ዲዛይነርና ሥራ ፈጣሪ ስትሆን፣ Ejig Tibeb መስራች እና Ethiopian Fashion Designers Association ተባባሪ መስራች ናት።

Ethio telecom, Djibouti Telecom, and Sudatel Group Advance Horizon Fiber Initiative with International Partners Through Pre-Commercialization Workshop

Ethio telecom, in partnership with Djibouti Telecom and Sudatel Group, has successfully hosted a high-level stakeholders' workshop to advance the pre-commercialisation phase of the Horizon Cross-Border Terrestrial Fiber Initiative. Formalized under a robust consortium framework, the secure corridor connects Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Sudan, offering global carriers and hyperscalers a highly reliable, low-latency alternative route for subsea cable traffic across the Red Sea.

Held in Addis Ababa, the workshop focused intensely on the commercial and technical requirements of the high-capacity terrestrial fiber corridor being developed across the region. Engineered with a fully protected, redundant architecture, the route seamlessly links cable landing stations in Djibouti and Port Sudan via Ethiopia, featuring expert network architecture insights from Ciena, Nokia, and BringCom.

The successful gathering convened leading global technology and connectivity organizations, including Google, Meta (via HIPConsult), Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Airtel Africa, Bayobab, WIOCC, Nokia, Ciena, center3, Saudi Vision, and China Mobile International. During these strategic sessions, participating partners and global operators expressed strong interest in leveraging and monetizing the multi-terabit capabilities of the Horizon Fiber corridor.

Jointly developed by the three telecom leaders, the Horizon initiative provides robust data transport, colocation, and hosting services with seamless landing access in Djibouti and Sudan. Designed for high-speed performance and resilience, Horizon empowers next-generation workloads like cloud computing, artificial intelligence, fintech, e-commerce, and digital content delivery.

Ultimately, this milestone showcases how pioneering African operators unite their infrastructure, expertise, and regional reach to shape a more interconnected and digitally empowered future for the continent.

የአዲስ ዓለማየሁ የሥነ-ጽሑፍ ድንቅ ሥራ በነጋለኝ ሉሌ ሥዕሎች አማካኝነት በአዲስ የጥበብ ትርጓሜ ቀርቧል። የፍቅር፣ የቤተሰብ እና የመንፈሳዊነት ታሪኮችን በምስል የሚያስቃኘው አውደ-ርዕዩ፣ ሥነ-ጽሑፍን ከሥዕል ጥበብ ጋር የሚያገናኝ ልዩ የጥበብ ልምድ ይሰጣል።

የአውደ-ርዕዩ ጋለሪ በማስታወቂያው መሠረት 24/7 ክፍት ሲሆን፣ የኢትዮጵያን የሥነ-ጽሑፍ ቅርስ በሥዕል መልክ ለመመልከት የሚፈልጉ የጥበብ አፍቃሪዎች እንዲጎበኙት ጥሪ ቀርቧል።

የአርቲስት ነጋለኝ ሉሌ ግል ታሪክ (Biography)

በ1958 ዓ.ም በጎጃም በደብረ ማርቆስ ከተማ ተወለዱ። የእድሜያቸው ትምህርት ሲደርስ የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትምህርታቸውን በፍኖተ ሰላም ከተማ፣ የ2ኛ ደረጃ ትምህርታቸውን ደግሞ በደብረ ማርቆስ አጠቃላይ 2ኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት አጠናቀቁ። በሥነ ጥበብ ዲዛይን ትምህርት ቤት (Balle Design School) በ1983 ዓ.ም በስዕል ጥናት በዲፕሎማ ተመርቀዋል።

በተለያዩ የመንግሥትና የግል መሥሪያ ቤቶች ከ30 ዓመት ያላነሰ በሙያቸው አገልግለዋል። ከመደበኛ ሥራቸው በተጨማሪ አብዛኛውን ጊዜያቸውን የተለያዩ የሥነ ጥበብ ሥራዎችን በመሥራት አሳልፈዋል።

1983 ዓ.ም፦ በኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ሙዚየም በጋራ የስዕል ኤግዚቢሽን አሳይተዋል።

1991 እና 1999 ዓ.ም፦ በባህር ዳር ከተማ በቡድን ሥራዎችን አሳይተዋል።

2008 እና 2010 ዓ.ም፦ በደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አዲስ አለማየሁ የባህል ጥናት ተቋም ያዘጋጇቸውን የፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ተከታታይ የስዕል ሥራዎች አቅርበዋል።

2009 ዓ.ም፦ በአማራ ብሔራዊ ክልላዊ መንግሥትና በኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ የባህል ማዕከል በጋራ በተዘጋጀው መድረክ ላይ በላቀቋቸው የፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ተከታታይ ገጸ ባሕርያት የስዕል ሥራዎቻቸው የዕድሜ ልክና የምርጥ የሥነ-ጥበብ ተሸላሚ ሆነዋል።

«ፍቅር እስከ መቃብር» — የሥነ-ጥበብ እና ሥነ-ጽሑፍ ውህደት መነሻ ምክንያት እንደተናገሩት "የፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ተከታታይ የገጸ-ባሕርያት ስዕሎችን እንድስል ያነሳሳኝ ምክንያት ዘመን ተሻጋሪ የሆነው የፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ትረካ በወጋየሁ ንጋቱ ድምፅ በሬዲዮ ሲነበብና ሲተረክ መስማቴ፣ እንዲሁም በቤተሰቦቼ ሲነገረኝ በነበረው በነበረው የጎጃም ማኅበረሰብ አኗኗርና ሥርዓት እየተደመምኩ ያደግኩበት ታሪኮች ስዕሎቹን ለመሳል መነሻዎች ናቸው።

የሳልኳቸው የፍቅር እስከ መቃብር ተከታታይ ገጸ ባሕርያት ሥራዎች ማኅበራዊ ሕይወትን የተለያዩ ውጣ ውረዶችን የሚጋፈጡ ሰዎችን የሕይወት ጉዞና ፅናት በተምሳሌትነት ይገልጻሉ። ስለዚህም የሥዕሎቹ ዋና ዓላማ ስሜቴንና ፍላጎቴን ከመግለጽ በተጨማሪ በሰው ልጅ መካከል ያለውን የጋራ መግባባትና ስምምነት ማጎልበት ነው።

ነሐሴ 20 ቀን የተከፈተ ሲሆን መስከረም 11 ቀን 2019ዓ.ም የሥነ-ጥበብ እና ሥነ-ጽሑፍ ውህደት የአውደ-ርዕዩ ጋለሪ በሃያት ሬጀንሲ ሆቴል፣ አዲስ አበባ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ይጠናቀቃል።

ሰላም፣ ጤና ይስጥልኝ! ሺን ቻው ቬትናም!

የተከበራችሁ የእኛ ሊቀመንበር ወ/ሮ ጁሊያ ሞርሊ፣ አዘጋጆች፣ ዳኞች፣ የውበት ውድድር ንግሥቶች እና በመስመር ላይ እየተከታተላችሁን ያላችሁ ሁላችሁም፣ እንደምን አደራችሁ!

በምስጋና መጀመር እፈልጋለሁ። እናመሰግናለሁ። ይህን መድረክ ስለፈጠራችሁ እናመሰግናለሁ። በሚስ ወርልድ ምክንያት ዓለም እየተፈወሰ ነው። እኛ እዚህ የመጣነው እንደ ውበት ንግሥት ብቻ ለመታየት አይደለም፤ ሌሎችንም ለማየት ነው እዚህ ያለነው።

ስሜ ሩታ ይርጋለም ነው፣ እናም ውብ አገሬን ኢትዮጵያን በመወከል እዚህ ቆሜያለሁ።

ከእናንተ መካከል ኢትዮጵያ አሁን በ2018 ዓ.ም እንደምትገኝ የምታውቁ ስንቶች ናችሁ?

እሺ። አዎ! ምክንያቱም የራሳችን የዘመን አቆጣጠር ሥርዓት አለን። እኛ የሰው ልጅ መገኛ፣ የ13 ወራት ፀሐይ ምድር፣ የቡና መገኛ እና አስደናቂ መልክዓ ምድር ባለቤት ነን።

ነገር ግን ከባንዲራዬ ጀርባ፣ ወደዚህ ያመጣኝን እና ከጀርባው ያለውን ጥንካሬዬን ልንገራችሁ።

የእኔ ታሪክ በአንድ ማጣት ተጀመረ። የአንድ ዓመት ልጅ ሳለሁ እናቴን አጣሁ። አባቴ እኛን ለማሳደግና የተሻለ የወደፊት ሕይወት ለመስጠት ሕይወቱን በሙሉ ሠዋ።

እሱ በማይኖርበት ጊዜ እኔ ጥቃት ይደርስብኝ ነበር፣ እህቴም በሕመም ትሰቃይ ነበር። እኛ ግን እንደ እናታችን እሱንም እናጣዋለን ብለን ስለፈራን፣ ማንንም ነገር አልነገርንም።

እያደግን ስንሄድ፣ እህቴ ከእኔ በ5 ዓመት ትበልጥ እንደነበር ቢሆንም፣ እሷን ለመጠበቅ ተገደድኩ፤ እኔ ግን በፍቅር ነው ያደረግሁት።

እህቴ ከእኔ ጋር በአንድ ክፍል ለመማር 5 ዓመት ወደኋላ ተመለሰች። በዕድሜዋ፣ በቆዳዋ እና በክብደቷ ምክንያት ትሳለቅባት ነበር። ከእነዚህ ውስጥ አንዱንም እሷ አልመረጠችም።

እህቴን ለ8 ዓመታት እና ከዚያም በላይ ጠብቄያታለሁ። ነገር ግን አንድ ቀን፣ ወደዚህ ከመምጣቴ በፊት...

(እያለቀሰች) በጣም ይቅርታ...

ወደዚህ ከመምጣቴ በፊት፣ ለሚስ ወርልድ ጉዞዬ በምዘጋጅበት ጊዜ፣ በሕይወቴ በሙሉ ስጠብቀው የነበረ ነገር ስለሆነ በጣም ተደስቼ ነበር። እህቴ ጥሪ ደረሳት፤ እኔን ማስደሰትና ማስገረም እንደሚፈልጉ ተነገራት።

እሷም ሉሉስ ክሎዚንግ ብራንድ የተባለ የራሷ ዲዛይን ነበራት። እኔ ያደረግሁት ጉትቻም ከእሷ ሥራዎች አንዱ ነው።

እህቴ በዚያ ቀን እኔን ማስገረምና ማስደሰት ፈለገች። ከቤት ወጣች፣ ነገር ግን ዳግመኛ አልተመለሰችም።

እህቴ ታፈነች። ከዚያ በኋላ አጋቾቹ ገንዘብ መጠየቅ ጀመሩ፣ በሕይወቴ የገነባሁትን ሁሉ ሊያጠፉብኝ ሞከሩ። 9 ቀናት የፍርሃት፣ የጸሎት...

ወደዚህ ወደ ቬትናም ለሚስ ወርልድ ከመምጣቴ አንድ ሳምንት በፊት፣ በሕይወቴ የሰማሁትን እጅግ መጥፎ ዜና ሰማሁ። ለዓመታት የተንከባከብኳት እህቴ፣ ለ10 ዓመታት ቅርብ ጓደኛዬ በነበረችው ሰው እና በባልደረባዋ ተገደለች።

ይቅርታ።

እህቴ በ10 ዓመት ምርጥ ጓደኛዬ በነበረችው ሰው እና በባልደረባዋ ተገደለች። ይህች ሕይወቴን በሙሉ ተሸክሜ የኖርኩላት እህቴ ናት። ከእኔ ትልቅ ብትሆንም እንደ ሕፃን ተሸክሜያታለሁ።

በዚያ ጊዜ ወድቄ እንደወደቅሁ ተሰማኝ። ተከዳሁ። ያ ብቻ አልነበረም፤ ብዙ ጊዜ ገደሉኝ። በሚጥል በሽታ ስለምትሰቃይ የሚጥል በሽታዋ እንደገደላት አሰብኩ። ነገር ግን በዚያ ቀን እህቴ በሻንጣ ውስጥ ተገኘች። በአንድ ሻንጣ ሳይሆን፣ በሁለት ሻንጣዎች ውስጥ። ይህ ሁሉ ወደዚህ ከመምጣቴ አንድ ሳምንት በፊት ነው።

ሰዎች ጠንካራ እንድሆን ነገሩኝ። ያጣሁትን አውቃለሁ። ለምን እዚህ እንዳለሁም አውቃለሁ።

እዚህ ያለሁት ልበ-ደንዳና ሰው ስለሆንኩ አይደለም። እዚህ ያለሁት ኃላፊነት ስላለብኝ ነው። እዚህ ያለሁት በአባቴ ምክንያት፣ በእህቴ ጸሎት ምክንያት ነው። እዚህ ያለሁት መንግሥትና ኢትዮጵያውያን የሰጡኝ ኃላፊነት ስላለ ነው። ቃል ስለገባሁ ነው እዚህ ያለሁት።

ለሴቶችና ለሕፃናት ድምፅ እንደምሆንላቸው፣ እንደምደግፋቸውና እንደማበረታታቸው ቃል ገብቻለሁ። ያንን ቃል ማፍረስ አልችልም።

ስለዚህ ቦርሳዬን ጠቀለልኩ፣ ህመሜን ወደ ዓላማ ለመቀየር ስለመረጥኩ።

በእኔ ፕሮጀክት “ዘ ሳይለንት ስትራግል” (The Silent Struggle) በሴቶች ማብቃትና በወጣቶች ልማት ላይ በማተኮር፣ ጥቃት የሚደርስባቸውን ሕፃናት ለመርዳት በአገሬ ጉዞዎችን አድርጌያለሁ።

ወላጆች፣ ሕፃናት ምግብና ውሃ ብቻ አይደለም የሚፈልጉት፤ የአእምሮ ጤናም ያስፈልጋቸዋል። ያ በጣም አስፈላጊ ነው።

ዛሬ የምንጠብቃቸው ሕፃናት ነገ ዓለማችንን የሚመሩ ትውልዶች ናቸው።

በሴቶች ማብቃት ረገድም፣ በኢትዮጵያ ከዶ/ር ካትሪን ሃምሊን ፊስቱላ ማዕከል ጋር በመሆን በፊስቱላ የሚሰቃዩ ሴቶችን እየረዳሁ ነው።

አስቡት፤ አንዲት ሴት ልጅ ከወለደች በኋላ በሽንትና በሰገራ መፍሰስ ችግር ትቀራለች።

እኔ እዚህ ያለሁት ለእነርሱ ድምፅ ለመሆንና ግንዛቤ ለመፍጠር ነው። እነዚህ ሴቶች በባሎቻቸው፣ በማኅበረሰባቸው እና በሌሎችም እየተገለሉ ነው።

በፊስቱላ የተጠቃች ሴትን መፈወስ በሽታውን ማከም ብቻ አይደለም፤ ክብሯንና የሴትነት አቅሟን መመለስም ነው።

መርሄ ይህ ነው፦ “ሌሎች እንዲያበሩ የሚረዳ ብርሃን ሁን።”

በኢትዮጵያ “ወርቅ በእሳት ይፈተናል” እንላለን። ይህ ማለት የወርቅ ዋጋው እስኪታወቅ ድረስ በእሳት ይፈተናል ማለት ነው።

እኔም በእሳት ተፈትኛለሁ፣ ግን ያ እሳት አላጠፋኝም። ጥንካሬዬንና ዓላማዬን ከፍ አደረገው።

ስለዚህ ለእያንዳንዷ ሴት፣ ለእያንዳንዱ ሕፃን እና ዛሬ እዚህ ሆኜ ስናገር ለሚመለከቱኝ ሁሉ፦ ልትሰበሩ ትችላላችሁ፣ ግን ሳትሸነፉ።

አንድ ሰው ጉዞዎን ሊያግድ ይሞክር ይሆናል፣ ግን የመጨረሻ መጨረሻችሁን የሚጽፈው እሱ አይደለም። እግዚአብሔር ነው። እግዚአብሔር የመጨረሻችሁን ያውቃል።

እኔ ሩታ ይርጋለም ነኝ።

I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for creating this platform. Because of Miss World, the world is healing. We are not only here to be seen as a beauty queen, but we are here to see others.

My name is Ruta Yirgalem, and I am representing my beautiful country, Ethiopia.
How many of you know that Ethiopia is in the year of 2018?

All right. Yeah! Because we have our own calendar system. We are the cradle of humankind, 13 months of sunshine, the birthplace of coffee, and a breathtaking landscape.

But behind my flag, let me tell you what brought me here, my strength behind it.
My story began with a loss. I lost my mother when I was one. My father sacrificed his all life to raise us and give us a better future.

While he was not around, I used to be abused, and my sister used to go through illness. We didn't say anything because of a fear of losing him like my mom, and us being left alone.

While growing up, even though my sister is 5 years older than me, I was forced to protect her, but I would love it.

My sister went back 5 years behind and sat on a chair with me in a class. She used to be bullied of her age, her skin, and her weight. She didn't choose any of it.

I protected my sister for 8 years and 1 plus. But one day, before coming here...

(crying) I'm really sorry.

Before coming here, while I'm preparing for Miss World journey, I was so excited because it's something I've been waiting for my whole life. My sister got a call, she was told that they wanted to surprise me. And she have a design called Lulu's Clothing Brand. The earring that I'm wearing is one of her piece.
My sister that day, she wanted to surprise me and make me happy. She left the house, but she never came back.

My sister got kidnapped. But after that, kidnappers started asking for money and tried to make me lose whatever I built in my life. 9 days of fear, prayers... Just a week before coming here for Miss World in Vietnam, I got the baddest news in my life. The sister I cared for years, she got killed by my best friend of 10 years.

I'm sorry.

My sister got killed by my best friend of 10 years that I believed, with her partner. That's the sister I carried for my entire life. Even though she's my biggest sister, I carried her like a baby.

That time, I felt like I failed. I got betrayed. Not only that part, they killed me a lot of times. I thought the seizure killed her because she have an epilepsy. But that day, my sister was found in a suitcase. Not in one, but in two. Just before a week coming here.
People told me to be strong. I know what I lost. I know why I'm here.

I'm here not because I'm a cold-hearted person. I'm here because I have a responsibility. I'm here because of my father, my sister's prayer. I am here because of the responsibility the government and Ethiopians gave me. I am here because I made a promise. I made a promise for women and children that I will advocate for them and cheer for them. I cannot break that.

So I packed my bags because I choose to leave and change my pain to a purpose.
Through my project, The Silent Struggle with women empowerment and youth development, I did a tour in my country so that I can help children that get abused.

Parents, children don't only need food, water—they also need mental health. That matters a lot. The children we protect today are the generation that will lead our world tomorrow.
And with women empowerment, I am helping women with fistula with Dr. Catherine Hamlin Fistula Center in Ethiopia. Imagine a woman giving birth, but she's left of leaking urine and stool.

I am here to advocate for them and create awareness. These women are being isolated by their husband, by their community, and more.

Healing a girl with fistula is not only treating the disease, it's also giving their dignity and women empowerment back.
My motto is: "Be the light that helps others shine."

In Ethiopia we say: "ወርቅ በእሳት ይፈተናል" (Gold is tested by fire). That means a gold is tested by a fire until it's known its value. I have been tested by a fire, but the fire didn't destroy me. It elevated my strength and my purpose.

So to every woman, every child, and everyone watching here today when I speak: You can be broken without being defeated.

Someone will try to block your journey, but they do not write your ending. It's God. God knows your ending.

ሐረር በዩኔስኮ (UNESCO) በአንድ የዓለም ቅርስነት ዕውቅና የተሰጠው ሲሆን ይህም "ሐረር ጁጎል፣ የተመሸገች ታሪካዊ ከተማ" በመባል ይታወቃል። እ.ኤ.አ. በ2006 "ሐረር ጁጎል፣ የተመሸገች ታሪካዊ ከተማ" በሚል ኦፊሴላዊ ስም በዓለም ቅርስነት መዝገብ ውስጥ ሰፍሯል።

ይህ ስፍራ አንድ የዓለም ቅርስ ቢሆንም፣ ዩኔስኮ ለዚህ ቦታ "የላቀ ሁለንተናዊ እሴት" (Outstanding Universal Value) የሰጠው በሦስት ዋና ዋና የባህል መስፈርቶች (iv እና v) ላይ በመመስረት ነው።

1. ልዩ የሕንፃ ጥበብ ውህደት

ሐረር የአፍሪካ እና የእስልምና ወጎች ያልተለመደ ውህደትን ትወክላለች። የከተማዋ አቀማመጥ እና የ"ሐረሪ" ቤቶች ዲዛይን—በመሃል ላይ በሚገኙ ግቢዎች እና ውስጣዊ ግድግዳዎቻቸው ላይ በሚታዩ ውስብስብ እና ያሸበረቁ የእንጨት ቅርጻ ቅርጾች የሚታወቁ—በክልሉ ከሚገኙ ሌሎች የእስልምና ከተሞች የተለዩ ያደርጓታል። ይህም የኢትዮጵያ ደጋማ አካባቢዎች እና የሰፊው የእስልምና ዓለም ለዘመናት የነበራቸው መስተጋብር ውጤት የሆነ ልዩ ማንነትን ፈጥሯል።

2. ልዩ የሆነ የሃይማኖት ፋይዳ

ብዙውን ጊዜ በእስልምና አራተኛዋ የተቀደሰች ከተማ ተብላ የምትጠራው (ከመካ፣ ከመዲና እና ከኢየሩሳሌም በመቀጠል)፣ ሐረር ትልቅ መንፈሳዊ ማዕከል ናት። በከተማዋ ግንብ ውስጥ እጅግ በጣም ብዙ የሃይማኖት ስፍራዎች ይገኛሉ፦

ሦስቱ ከ10ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን ጀምሮ የቆዩትን ጨምሮ 82 መስጊዶች።

ለአካባቢው ቅዱሳን እና እስላማዊ ታላላቅ ሰዎች የተገነቡ 102 መቃብሮች (ሸሪዎች)።

3. "ሕያው" የሆነ ታሪካዊ የከተማ ገጽታ

እንደ ብዙዎቹ የቅርስ ስፍራዎች ሳይሆን፣ ሐረር የመካከለኛው ዘመን የከተማ አወቃቀሯን በመጠበቅ እንደ ዘመናዊ የባህል ማዕከል የምታገለግል "ሕያው" የቅርስ ከተማ ናት። በ13ኛው እና በ16ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን መካከል የተገነባው "ጁጎል" (የመከላከያ ግንብ)፣ አሁንም የድሮዋን ታሪካዊ ከተማ ይከብባል። ይህም የባህላዊ ማህበራዊ አደረጃጀትን፣ የመንገድ አቀማመጥን እና ቀደም ሲል ኢትዮጵያን ከአረብ ባሕረ ገብ መሬት እና ከዓለም ገበያዎች ጋር ያገናኙ የነበሩ ጥንታዊ የንግድ መስመሮችን ጠብቆ እንዲቆይ አድርጓል።

ሐረር በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ካሉ ዘጠኝ የዓለም ቅርስ ቦታዎች አንዷ ነች። ሌሎችም የላሊበላ ውቅር አብያተ ክርስቲያናት፣ የስምየን ተራሮች ብሔራዊ ፓርክ፣ የአክሱም ሥልጣኔ፣ የፋሲል ግቢ (ጎንደር)፣ የአዋሽ ሸለቆ፣ የታችኛው ኦሞ ሸለቆ፣ የቲያ ሐውልቶች እና የኮንሶ የባህል መልክዓ ምድር ይገኙበታል።

Harar is officially recognized by UNESCO as a single World Heritage site: Harar Jugol, the Fortified Historic Town. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2006 under the official name Harar Jugol, the Fortified Historic Town.

​While it is a single site, UNESCO’s recognition is based on three primary cultural criteria (iv and v) that define why it holds "Outstanding Universal Value":

​Harar represents an exceptional fusion of African and Islamic traditions. Its urban layout and "Harari" house designs—characterized by central courtyards and intricate, colorful interior woodwork—are distinct from other Islamic cities in the region. ​Often described as the fourth holiest city in Islam (after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem), Harar serves as a major spiritual center. Within its walls, the city contains an extraordinary concentration of religious sites:

​82 mosques, three of which date back to the 10th century.

​102 shrines dedicated to local saints and Islamic figures.

​3. A "Living" Historic Urban Landscape

​Unlike many archeological sites, Harar is a "living" heritage city that has preserved its medieval urban fabric while functioning as a modern cultural hub. Its "Jugol" (defensive wall), built between the 13th and 16th centuries, still encloses the historic old town, maintaining the traditional social organization, street patterns, and ancient trade routes that once connected Ethiopia to the Arabian Peninsula and global markets.

Harar is one of nine total recognitions in the country. The others include the Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, the Simien Mountains National Park, the Kingdom of Aksum, Fasil Ghebbi (Gondar), the Lower Valley of the Awash, the Lower Omo Valley, the Tiya Stelae, and the Konso Cultural Landscape.

በባንኮክ የጎዳና ምግብ ማጣጣም፣ በቺያንግ ማይ የባህል በዓል መካፈል፣ በፉኬት የባሕር ስፖርት መሞከር፣ የታይ ማሳጅና የWellness አገልግሎት መውሰድ፣ የምሽት ገበያዎችን መጎብኘት፤ እነዚህ ሁሉ ተጣምረው የሚሸጠው "ታይላንድ" የተባለውን ልምድ ነው።

Rural Connectivity: Empowering Communities and Bridging the Digital Divide!

Ethio telecom has successfully completed the first year of its Next Horizon: Digital & Beyond 2028 Strategy, marking significant progress in bridging Ethiopia’s digital divide. At the heart of this strategy is our commitment to inclusive, sustainable and transformative rural connectivity, ensuring that geography, distance and limited access to electricity do not prevent communities from participating in the digital economy.

During the fiscal year, we deployed 195 new rural mobile sites, reaching communities located, on average, 14.3 kilometres from the nearest town and 10.6 kilometres from the nearest existing mobile site. This demonstrates our deliberate focus on connecting Ethiopia’s most remote and underserved areas.

This expansion extended connectivity and digital access to 117 woredas and 492 kebeles and villages, enabling more than 1.53 million people to benefit from reliable communications, digital platforms and inclusive financial services.

To address power limitations in remote areas, we deployed 22 additional Rural Solution sites, specifically designed to serve communities with limited or no access to the national electricity grid. We also significantly expanded our green energy infrastructure, increasing installed solar power capacity from 27 MW to 39.72 MW, an additional 12.72 MW in just one year. This investment strengthens network resilience, reduces dependence on conventional energy sources and advances our environmental sustainability commitments.

Connectivity must also translate into meaningful access to essential services. Through our Rural Agent Project, we onboarded 812 new agents across 17 regions, achieving a 58% active-agent rate and bringing telebirr and other essential digital financial services closer to previously underserved communities. Going forward, we will focus on further improving agent activation, productivity and service availability.

We also advanced the fiberization of rural wireless sites, strengthening network capacity, reliability and service quality while preparing rural communities for growing digital demand.

በአለም አቀፍ የ“Made in Italy” ቀን ምክንያት በማድረግ በጣሊያን የምርት መለያዎች ሙዚየም አማካኝነት ታዋቂ ብራንዶች ያለፉበትን የዲዛይን እድገት የሚያሳይ ልዩ ኤግዚቢሽን ለዕይታ ይቀርባል።
