ይህ ስፍራ አንድ የዓለም ቅርስ ቢሆንም፣ ዩኔስኮ ለዚህ ቦታ "የላቀ ሁለንተናዊ እሴት" (Outstanding Universal Value) የሰጠው በሦስት ዋና ዋና የባህል መስፈርቶች (iv እና v) ላይ በመመስረት ነው።

ሐረር የአፍሪካ እና የእስልምና ወጎች ያልተለመደ ውህደትን ትወክላለች። የከተማዋ አቀማመጥ እና የ"ሐረሪ" ቤቶች ዲዛይን—በመሃል ላይ በሚገኙ ግቢዎች እና ውስጣዊ ግድግዳዎቻቸው ላይ በሚታዩ ውስብስብ እና ያሸበረቁ የእንጨት ቅርጻ ቅርጾች የሚታወቁ—በክልሉ ከሚገኙ ሌሎች የእስልምና ከተሞች የተለዩ ያደርጓታል። ይህም የኢትዮጵያ ደጋማ አካባቢዎች እና የሰፊው የእስልምና ዓለም ለዘመናት የነበራቸው መስተጋብር ውጤት የሆነ ልዩ ማንነትን ፈጥሯል።

እንደ ብዙዎቹ የቅርስ ስፍራዎች ሳይሆን፣ ሐረር የመካከለኛው ዘመን የከተማ አወቃቀሯን በመጠበቅ እንደ ዘመናዊ የባህል ማዕከል የምታገለግል "ሕያው" የቅርስ ከተማ ናት። በ13ኛው እና በ16ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን መካከል የተገነባው "ጁጎል" (የመከላከያ ግንብ)፣ አሁንም የድሮዋን ታሪካዊ ከተማ ይከብባል። ይህም የባህላዊ ማህበራዊ አደረጃጀትን፣ የመንገድ አቀማመጥን እና ቀደም ሲል ኢትዮጵያን ከአረብ ባሕረ ገብ መሬት እና ከዓለም ገበያዎች ጋር ያገናኙ የነበሩ ጥንታዊ የንግድ መስመሮችን ጠብቆ እንዲቆይ አድርጓል።

DECLARING "THE BEST" Ethiopian restaurant in a region overstocked with them is a challenge. While their menus tend to read alike, they distinguish themselves with fine points. Let's just say Beteseb Restaurant in Silver Spring is where I think about going most often when I need my kitfo and vegetable fix. No other Ethiopian spot of my acquaintance has a more compelling physical menu. It comes in the shape of a round of injera, with lush, life-size photos of some of the dishes you can order.
mitmita My current fascination is dullet: boiled, ground beef tripe seasoned with cardamom, jalapeño and a torch song trilogy rounded out with garlic, onion and butter. I like to pair the offal with one of the top vegetable combinations around, a garden of delights gathering lentils in three colors: near-melting cabbage, garlicky collard greens and an orange puddle of shiro, chickpea
flour stew shot through with onion, garlic and berbere.
Thought has gone into the 50-seat storefront, a wall of which reflects a shade of yellow lentils and a corner of which displays woven baskets and wine. A silver-toned silhouette of Addis Ababa adds to the interior appeal. Beteseb translates from Amharic to "family," which sums up both the business owned by chef Darmyelesh Alemu and her brother, Aynalem Zeleke, and the chef's philosophy. "We want you to feel like family when you come in," she says. Done!

DECLARING "THE BEST" Ethiopian restaurant in a region overstocked with them is a challenge. While their menus tend to read alike, they distinguish themselves with fine points. Let's just say Beteseb Restaurant in Silver Spring is where I think about going most often when I need my kitfo and vegetable fix. No other Ethiopian spot of my acquaintance has a more compelling physical menu. It comes in the shape of a round of injera, with lush, life-size photos of some of the dishes you can order.
mitmita My current fascination is dullet: boiled, ground beef tripe seasoned with cardamom, jalapeño and a torch song trilogy rounded out with garlic, onion and butter. I like to pair the offal with one of the top vegetable combinations around, a garden of delights gathering lentils in three colors: near-melting cabbage, garlicky collard greens and an orange puddle of shiro, chickpea

ውይይይ ሬዲዮ እኮ! የልቤና ሱሴም ነው! "ያለሽቦ ቃል ሚያሳልፍ የንፋስ ስልክ የተባለው 'ሬዲዮ'-የኢትዮጵያው 90ኛ የልደት ሻማውን ለኮሰ።
#ethiopia | መስከረም 2/1928 ዓ.ም ግርማዊ ጃንሆይ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በሬዲዮ ስርጭቱ ንግግር አደረጉ፤ ልዕልት ጸሐይ በእንግሊዝኛ መልዕክት አስተላልፈውበታል፤ ኢጣሊያም ኢትዮጵያን ልትወር ያንዣበበችበት ዋዜማ ነበር።
ሬዲዮው በ9 ሀገራዊና በ3 የውጭ ቋንቋዎች ዜናና ፕሮግራሞችን እንደሚያስተላልፍ ያመሳከርኩት የታሪክ ሰነድ ያመለክታል።

በተጨማሪም የገበያ ውድድሩ አቅጣጫ ከፍጥነት፥ ተደራሽነት፥ ዋጋ፥ ጥራትና አዋጭነት አኳያ በአማራጭ ብዛት ትኩረቱ መለወጡ (Shift in Market competition) አስተማማኝ ዘላቂ ገቢን ለማረጋገጥ እየተፈተኑ ነው።
እናም የዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂው ፈጣን ለውጥ -"If you can't change, the change will change you" - ወቅቱን በሚዋጅ መልኩ ካልተለወጥክ - ለውጡ ራሱ ይለውጥሃል ነው ቅኔው።
እናም ውድድሩ ትንቅንቅ በሆነበት ዘመን የዕድሜ ረዥምነት ላይ ብዙ ከመመፃደቅ ያለፈ ፋይዳው የቀጠለ (Relevant) እና የገቢ አዋጭነቱ አዝላቂ (Viable) የሆነ ተጨባጭ ስራን መስራት ይጠይቃል።

ሬዲዮ ለሚለው ቃል ወካይ አማርኛ ሲሰጠው - "ያለሽቦ ቃል የሚያሳልፍ መኪና" ተብሎ ተተርጉሟል።
የመሰረት ድንጋይ በተቀመጠበት ቦታ የተጻፈ-'በንፋስ የሚሄድ ስልክ' የሚል ነበርና ዛሬ አካባቢውም 'ንፋስ ስልክ' የሚል መጠሪያውን ይዞ ቀረ።
በኢትዮጵያ ሬዲዮ-ዜና ፋይል፥የሰሞኑ ታላቅ ዜናና ዓለም በዚህ ሳምንት እጅግ ተወዳጅ ከነበሩት የዜናና መዋዕለ ዜና መካከል ይጠቀሳሉ።
ከፕሮግራሞች መካከል "የእሁድ ጠዋት" ፥ "የቅዳሜ ከሰአት መዝናኛ" ፥ "ኢትዮጵያን እንቃኛት"፥ "የኪነ - ጥበባት ምሽት"፥ "ከመድሀፍት ዓለም"፥"ከአድማስ ባሻገር"፥ "አውደ ገጠር" እና "ኢኮኖሚያችን" ጥቂቶቹ ናቸው።
የአፍሪካ አንድነት ድርጅት ሲመሰረት ሂደቱን የቀረጸው የኢትዮጵያ ሬዲዮ ነው፤ የመሪዎቹ ንግግሮች የታሪካዊ ሁነት (Historical events Speech) ተብሎ በኢትዮጵያ ሬዲዮ የድምፅ ማህደር ተሰድሮ ይገኛል።
የጥበቡ ሰውና የሸገር ሬዲዮ አንዱ መስራች ተፈሪ አለሙ፥ ከያኒውና የኢትዮ ኤፍ.ኤም ሬዲዮ አንዱ መስራች ሰራዊት ፍቅሬ እና ጋዜጠኛ መሳይ አለማየሁ ታሪክን ከትናንት፥ ዛሬና መጪውንም አክለን ተወያየን።
የእናትፋንታ ውቤ ውይይቱን ስትመራ መሳይዬ የድሮ የስቱዲዮ ማጋፈሩ ታውሶት እንደ እኛ እንግዳ ብቻ አልነበረም።
ቀዳማዊ አፄ ኃ/ሥላሴ ሐምሌ 14/ 1923 ዓ.ም በነፋስ ስልክ ለሬዲዮ ጣቢያ መቋቋም የመሰረት ድንጋይ አኖሩ፤ ጣቢያው ተመርቆ አገልግሎት የጀመረው ግን በ1927 ዓ.ም ነው።
ስርጭቱ ኢትዮጵያን እንዲሸፍን ተጠንቶ በ9 ከተሞች የሬዲዮ ማሰራጫ ጣቢያ ቢሰራ ተብሎ ታቀደ - በ1956 ዓ.ም።
ይሁንና የአካባቢ ሽፍታ በቀላል መሳሪያ ጣቢያውን ተቆጣጥሮ "ንጉሥ ሆኛለሁ" ቢል ችግር ይፈጥራል ተባለ።
ስለዚህ ጣቢያዎቹ አ/አ፥ ሐረር እና አስመራ ላይ ብቻ ተቋቁመዋል።
ስርጭቱ ርቆ ስለማይወጣም የአዲስ አበባው ሬዲዮ በሚል ይተረብ ነበር።
የትራንስሚተር ድክመቱ ፍሪኩዌንሲ እንዳይረጋ ሆኖ ሞያተኛውንም ለፍቶ መና ሲያደርገው ቆይቷል።
በ1959ዓ.ም ግን ቀ/ኃ/ሥላሴ 35ኛ የዘውድ በአላቸው ወቅት የሚዲየም ዌቭ ማሰራጫ መርቀው ከፈቱ።
አዲሱን የማሰራጫና መቅረጫ መሣሪያዎች ተጠቅሞ በምዕራብ አፍሪካና ለምዕራብ አውሮፖ በእንግሊዝኛና ፈረንሣይኛ፤ ለምስራቅና መካከለኛው እስያ በአረብኛ፤ እንዲሁም ለመካከለኛው እና ለምስራቅ አፍሪካ በስዋህሊ ቋንቋዎች ፕሮግራሞችን በማስተላለፍ የተደራሽነቱን አድማስ አሰፋ።
እናም ይህ ከአፍሪካም አልፎ አለም አቀፍ ሚዲያ ለመሆን አልሞ ብዙ ርቀት የተጓዘው በነፃዪቱ ኢትዮጵያ የተመሰረተው የኢትዮጵያ ሬድዮ ዛሬ ከዕድሜ ቆጠራ በዘለቀ ይህን ራዕይ የት አደረሰው?
የሬዲዮ ቴክኒክ ክፍሉም በቴሌ ስር ስለነበር - አብዛኞቹን ማስተላለፊያና ማሰራጫ መሳሪያዎችን የመትከልና መጠገን አገልግሎት ሲሰጥ የቆየው በቴሌኮምዩኒኬሽን መ/ቤት ነበር።

ሬዲዮው በ9 ሀገራዊና በ3 የውጭ ቋንቋዎች ዜናና ፕሮግራሞችን እንደሚያስተላልፍ ያመሳከርኩት የታሪክ ሰነድ ያመለክታል።
በሞያ ብቃት የተገራሁበትን የድሮ ቤቴን ዛሬም ቢሆን በአፍሪካ ብዙዎች ከኋላው ተፈጥረው ቢቀድሙትም ከነጉድለቶቹ እወደዋለሁ።
ዋናው የኢትዮጵያ የሕዝብ ሀብት ነው ፥ ሲቀጥል ፈር ቀዳጁ የሀገር ልጆች የመሰረቱት አፍሪካዊ ሚዲያ መሆኑ እና ከሕዝብ ጋር ተሳስሮ ክፉና ደጉን እየተጋራ የዘለቀም ስለሆነ።
የኢጣሊያ አንሶልዶ ኩባንያ በሰራው የንፋስ ስልክ ጣቢያ ስርጭት የጀመረው ሬዲዮ እስከ1956 ዓ.ም ድረስ በአጭር ሞገድ ማሰራጨቱ ፉጨትና ጩኸት ስለሚቀላቀልበት በጥራት አይሰማም ነበር።
ሬዲዮን ጨምሮ ቴሌቪዥንና ጋዜጣ ያኔ ድሮ ዋነኞቹ የመረጃ ምንጮች (mainstream media)፥ ቀጥሎ የተለመዱ የዜና አገልግሎት መስጫዎች (traditional media) ሲባል ቆየና ከ10 አመት ወዲህ ስያሜው በውርስ መገናኛ ብዙኀንነት (በ-legacy media) ይጠራሉ።
ቀደምቱ ሚዲያ ፈተና ተጋርጦባቸው እየተንገዳገዱ ነው። የታዳሚያን በሩጫ በተሞላ አኗኗራቸው ሳቢያ ቤት ቁጭ ብለው ሚዲያ የመጠበቅ ዝንባሌ ከመቅረቱ ጋር የተያያዘው የባህሪ ለውጥ መምጣቱ (Shift in audience behaviour) አንዱ ነው።
ፈጣን የዲጂታል ቴክኖሎጂው እንቅስቃሴን የዋጁ መረጃን በፈለጉት ጊዜና ቦታ እጅ መዳፍ ላይ

Intervision Song Contest 2025
#ethiopia | የፊታችን መስከረም 10/2018 ዓ.ም በሩስያ ዋና ከተማ ሞስኮ "Intervision Song Contest 2025" (ኢንተርቪዥን ሶንግ ኮንቴስት 2025) የተሰኘ አሜሪካንን ጨምሮ ከ21 በላይ ሃገሮች የሚሳተፉበት ታላቅ የድምፃዊያን ውድድር ይካሄዳል።
ይህን ውድድር የሚያስተባብረው የሩስያ መንግስት ሲሆን ፕሬዝዳንት ቭላድሚር ፑቲን አስጀምረውት ምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዲሚትሪ ቼርንየሽኮ በበላይነት እንዲቆጣጠሩት ሾመዋቸዋል።
የሩስያ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር፤ ባህልን ለመጠበቅ እና የብሔራዊ እና የዓለም ባህልን ለማሻሻል የተቋቋመው ("Traditions of Art”)፤ ቻናል ዋን ሩሲያ (Channel One Russia)፤ እና ናሽናል ሚዲያ ግሩፕ (National Media Group) ከአዘጋጁ ጎን ተሰልፈዋል።
ይህንን ታላቅ ውድድር በተባባሪ አዘጋጅነት አብሮ እንዲሰራ ባላገሩ ቲም (Balageru Team) በመመረጡ ከፍተኛ ደስታ ይሰማናል።
ይህንንም ለወሰነው ለሩስያ አዘጋጅ ክፍል ያለንን አድናቆት ስንገልፅ በስራችን የምትኮሩትንና የምታበረታቱንን በመላው አለም የምትኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ሁሉ በማሰብና ይህ ምርጫ የናንተም እንደሚሆን በመተማመን ነው።
ውድድሩ በእለቱ መስከረም 10/2018 ከምሽቱ 2:00 ሰዓት ጀምሮ በባላገሩ ቴሌቪዥን በቀጥታ ይተላለፋል።
የውድድሩ መስፈርት የሚጠይቀውን ብቻ በመመርኮዝ ነፃነት ሱልጣን "ሃላል" በተሰኘው ዘፈኗ አገራችንን ወክላ ለመጀመርያ ግዜ ስለምትሳተፍ ባላሰለሰ ኢትዮጵያዊ ፍቅር ድጋፋችሁን እንድትሰጧት እንጠይቃለን።

ሌጀንድ ኢንተርናሽናል ፕሮፌሽናል ታይኳንዶ ግሩፕ አብረውን መስራት ለሚፈልጉ ሁሉ ጥሪ አቀረበ
#ethiopia | በኢትዮጵያ ሌጀንድ ኢንተርናሽናል ፕሮፌሽናል ቴኳንዶ አሶሴሽን እና በጂቲቲፍ አዘጋጅነት ለ5 ቀናት የሚቆይ ስልጠና እና ውድድር ከሐምሌ 30 እስከ ነሐሴ 4 ቀን 2017 ድረስ መዘጋጀቱ ተገልጿል፡፡
ስልጠና እና ውድድሩን አስመልክቶ በተሰጠው ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ፤ በስልጠናው ላይ 193 ሀገራትን የሚወክሉ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ትልቅ እውቅና ያላቸው እና በዘርፉ ላይ ተጽኖ ፈጣሪ የሆኑ ባለሙያዎች እውቀታቸውንና ልምዳቸውን እንደሚያካፍሉ የተገለጸ ሲሆን፤ የጂቲቲፍ ፈተና ወይንም (Global traditional taekwondo federation DANE EXAM) ይሰጣሉ ተብሏል።
ለዚህ ስልጠና እና ውድድር እስካሁን ከ250 በላይ ሰዎች የተመዘገቡ ሲሆን፤ አሸናፊ ለሚሆኑትም ሽልማት ይበረከትላቸዋል ተብሏል።
193 ሀገራትን ወክለው የሚመጡት አሰልጣኞች ለ7 ቀናት እንደሚቆዩ የተነገረ ሲሆን፤ በቆይታቸውም በስፖርቱ፣ በቱሪዝሙ፣ በኢንቨስትመንቱ እና በሌሎች የሥራ ዘርፎች ላይ በርካታ ሥራዎችን ለመስራት በማለም ወደ ኢትዮጵያ እንደሚገቡ ተገልጿል፡፡
የዓለም የጂቲቲኤፍ ም/ፕሬዚዳንት እና የELIPTA ፕሬዝዳንት የሆኑት ዶክተር ግራንድ ማስተር ሄኖክ ግርማ በመድረኩ የመክፈቻ እና የመዝጊያ ንግግር ያደረጉ ሲሆን፤ በንግግራቸውም "የዚህ ስልጠና እና ውድድር መዘጋጀት በዘርፉ ከሚያበረክተው አስተዋጽኦ ባሻገር ለሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያ የመልካም ገጽታ ግንባታ ትልቅ ዋጋ አለው" ብለዋል

The Shrouds
David Cronenberg's latest sci-fi-tinged drama stars Vincent Cassel as Karsh, an inventor who looks a lot like Cronenberg himself. Grief-stricken by the death of his wife (Diane Kruger), Karsh develops camera systems that can be buried with corpses, so that their relatives can watch them on monitors as they decompose. The invention catches on, but one night some graves containing these high-tech "shrouds" are desecrated, so Karsh and his brother-in-law (Guy Pearce) have to work out who was responsible. This may sound like the kind of scenario that the director of Scanners and The Fly might use to justify lots of gory body horror, but The Shrouds is a "restrained, even elegant" film inspired by Cronenberg's own bereavement, says Steve Pond at The Wrap. "It's a deeply personal look at loss that finds plenty of time to get creepy but never loses sight of the fact that it's a movie about grief… Its focus, which never wavers, is always on the feeling of loss, not the sight of gore."
