በጤና ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር መቅደስ ዳባ የተመራዉ የኢትዮጵያ ልዑካን ቡድን በጄኔቫ እየተካሄደ በለዉ 79ኛዉ የዓለም ጤና ጉባኤ ላይ እየተሳተፈ ይገኛል።

በጉባኤዉ ላይ ንግግር ያደረጉት የጤና ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር መቅደስ ዳባ በቅርቡ ይፋ የሆነዉ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ዳሰሳ ጥናት ግኝት መሰረት ኢትዮጵያ የእናቶችና ህጻናት ሞትን በመቀነስ ረገድ አመርቂ ዉጤት ማስመዝገቧን በመግለጽ በቀጣይም አለም አቀፍ የጤና ተደራሽነትን በማረጋገጥ ለመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ጤና ክብካቤ ከፍተኛ ትኩረት ተሰጥቶ ጠንካራ የጤና ስርዓት እንዲፈጠር በትጋት እንደሚሰራ አጽንኦት በመስጠት ተናግረዋል።

በመላዉ ህብረተሰብ ተሳትፎና የሚመለከታቸዉ ባለድርሻ አካላት ቅንጅት እንዲሁም የጤና ባለሙያዉን ተነሳሽነትና ተጠቃሚነት በማረጋገጥ የእናቶችና ህጸናት ጤናን በቀጣይነት ማሻሻል፣ ተላላፊና ተላላፊ ያልሆኑ በሽታዎችን መከላከልና መቆጣጠር፣ በዘመናዊ ቴክኖሎጂ በመታገዝ ጥራት ያለዉ የጤና አገልግሎት ተደራሽ እንዲሆን በትኩረት እንደሚሰራ የገለጹት ሚኒስትሯ ኢትዮጵያ ቀጣይነት ያለዉ የጤና ልማት ግቦችን ለማሳካት ከዓለም ጤና ድርጅት፣ ከአፍርካ ህብረት፣ ከሀገራት፣ ከሀገር በቀልና አለም አቀፍ አጋር ድርጅቶች እንዲሁም ሁሉም ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በቅንጅት ለመስራት ቁርጠኛ መሆኗን ገልጸዋል።

The Ethiopian delegation led by Health Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba is participating in the 79th World Health Assembly being held in Geneva.

Health Minister Dr. Mekdes Daba, who made a speech at the assembly, stated that according to the recently released public health survey findings, Ethiopia has recorded encouraging results in reducing maternal and child mortality, and emphasized that in the future, by ensuring universal health coverage, high attention will be given to primary health care to diligently work towards creating a strong health system.

The Minister stated that focus will be given to continuously improving maternal and child health through the participation of the entire community and the coordination of relevant stakeholders, as well as by ensuring the motivation and benefit of health professionals, and preventing and controlling communicable and non-communicable diseases, and making quality health services accessible with the help of modern technology: also expressed that Ethiopia is committed to working in coordination with the World Health Organization, the African Union, countries, local and international partner organizations, as well as all stakeholders to achieve the sustainable health development goals.

መልካም እንቅልፍ ለማግኘት የምንተኛበት ፍራሽ ይሄ ነው የማይባል አስተዋጽኦ አለው።
ለሁሉም ሰው አንድ አይነት ፍራሽ ይሆናል ባይባልም፤ ከምርምር በተከታታይ የሚገኙ ውጤቶች እንደሚያሳዩት የምንተኛበት ፍራሽ መጠንከርና መላላት በጀርባ አጥንት አቀማመጥ ፣ በመኝታ ምቾትና በህመም መጠን ላይ አስተዋጽኦው የጎላ ነው።

መሆን ያለበት በእንቅልፍ ወቅት የጀርባ አጥንታችን ተስተካክሎና በተፈጥሮ ቅርፁ ተደግፎ እንዲቆይ ማስቻል ነው። ፍራሽ በጣም ለስላሳ ሲሆን ሰውነታችን በተለይ በዳሌ አካባቢ ያለው አካላችን ወደ ውስጥ ስለሚሰምጥ ያልተስተካከለ የአጥንት አቀማመጥ ይፈጥራል። በተቃራኒው ፍራሹ በጣም የደረቀ ሲሆን የጀርባ አጥንታችንን የተፈጥሮ ቅርፅ እንዳይዝ በማድረግ ምቾት ይነሳናል። ይህም በዳሌና በትከሻ አካባቢ ላይ ጫና ይፈጥራል ። ሁለቱም ሁኔታዎች ምቾት ከመንሳት አልፈው ጥሩ እንቅልፍ እንዳይኖረን ያደርጋሉ።

*መካከለኛ ጥንካሬ ያለው ፍራሽ ለምን ይመከራል?*

የጤና ምርምሮች በግልፅ እንደሚያሳዩት ከሆነ በጣም ጠንካራና ደረቅ ወይም በጣም ለስላሳ ከሆኑት ፍራሾች ጋር ስናወዳድር መካከለኛ ጥንካሬ ያላቸው አፍራሾች ዝቅተኛ የጀርባ ህመም እና ጥራት ያለው እንቅልፍ ያስገኛሉ ።

ምክንያቱም እንዲህ ያሉ ፍራሾች ፤
-ሌሊቱን ሙሉ ተፈላጊውን የሰውነት መስተካከል ጠብቀን እንድንተኛ ያስችላሉ። ማለትም
-የጀርባ አጥንታችን በስርአት ይደገፋል
-መገጣጠምያዎቻችን ከጫና ይድናሉ
-የሰውነታችን ክብደት በተገቢው ሁኔታ በመላው አካል ላይ ይከፋፈላል ።

ምንም እንኳ የሰውነት ምቾት ከሰው ሰው የሚለያይ ቢሆንም ብዙውን ጊዜ ለማጣቀሻነት የምንጠቀመው የጥንካሬ ደረጃ ከ10 የሚለካ ሆኖ ከ5-7 መካከል ያለው የጥንካሬ መጠን በተመራጭነት ይጠቀሳል ።

*ከግምት ማስገባት ያለብን ጠቃሚ ነገሮች፤*
በሰዎች መካከል እንደ የሰውነት ክብደት ፣ የአተኛኘት ልምድ እና የግል ምቾት ያሉ ልዩነቶች ትክክለኛውን የፍራሽ ውጤት ይወስናሉ።

*የአተኛኘት ሁኔታ፤*
-በጀርባ የሚተኙ ሰዎች ሁሌም መካከለኛ ጥንካሬ ካለው ደጋፊ ፍራሽ ብዙ ያተርፋሉ ።
-በሌላ በኩል በጎን የሚተኙ ሰዎች በመጠኑም ቢሆን ለስለስ ያለ የተሻለ ከጫና የሚያስታግስ ነገር ሊመርጡ ይችላሉ።

*የፍራሹ ይዞታ፤*
በጣም ያረጀና የጎረጎደ ፍራሽ ምንም እንኳ ሲገዛ ጥራት ያለው ቢሆንም የጀርባ ህመምን ሊያባብስ ይችላል።

*መረጃዎቹ ምን ያሳያሉ?*
መካከለኛ ጥንካሬ ያላቸው ፍራሾች አሳሳቢ የታችኛው የጀርባ ክፍል ህመም ላላቸው ሰዎች እፎይታን ይሰጣሉ እንቅስቃሴንም ያሻሽላሉ።

ብዙ ጊዜ በተለምዶ እንደሚሰማው በጣም ጥብቅና ጠንካራ የሆኑ ፍራሾች የተሻሉ ናቸው የሚለውን ሀሳብ የሚደግፍ መረጃ የለም።

The results, announced to a raucous crowd, position Kiros as a frontrunner in the race for the seat currently held by longtime Representative Diana DeGette.

ዛሬ በአህጉራችን መዲና አዲስ አበባ፣ ከተለያዩ የአፍሪካ ከተሞች ከመጡ ከንቲባዎች እና ከክልል አስተዳዳሪዎች ጋር ፍሬያማ የአቻ ለአቻ የመማማሪያ መድረክ እያካሄድን እንገኛለን።

በተባበሩት መንግሥታት የአፍሪካ ኢኮኖሚክ ኮሚሽን (UNECA) አማካኝነት በአፍሪካ ከተሞች የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር (Financial Management) አፈፃፀም ላይ በተካሄደው ጥልቅ የዳሰሳ ጥናት መሠረት፤ አዲስ አበባ ከተመዘነችባቸው 6 መስፈርቶች ውስጥ በ5ቱ የላቀ አፈፃፀም በማስመዝገቧ ልምድ እንድታካፍል ተመርጣለች።

ጥናቱ ከተካሄደባቸው ስድስት የአፍሪካ ከተሞች (ናይሮቢ፣ ዳሬሰላም፣ ሉሳካ፣ ኪጋሊ እና ያውንዴ) መካከል አዲስ አበባ የተሻለ አፈፃፀም በማስመዝገብ ቀዳሚ መሆን ችላለች። በተለይም የገቢ እና የፋይናንስ ሀብት አስተዳደርን በማዘመን ረገድ ከተማችን የጀመረችው ሪፎርም ውጤታማና ለአፍሪካ ከተሞች አርአያ መሆኑን የጥናቱ ግኝት አመላክቷል።

ይህ ስኬት፤ ከተማችን ከምትሰበስበው አጠቃላይ ገቢ ውስጥ 71 በመቶውን ለልማት ሥራዎች በመመደብ፣ የዜጎችን ዘላቂ ተጠቃሚነት ለማረጋገጥ ስናደርግ የቆየነው የሪፎርም ጉዞ ውጤማነት ማሳያ ነው።

Addis Ababa has once again reaffirmed its continental leadership by serving as a platform for mutual learning among our African brothers and sisters.

Today, in our continental capital, we are hosting a productive peer-to-peer learning forum with mayors and regional administrators from various African cities.

According to an in-depth survey conducted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on the financial management performance of African cities, Addis Ababa was selected to share its experience after achieving outstanding results in five of the six key metrics evaluated.
Among the six African cities surveyed (Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam, Lusaka, Kigali, and Yaoundé), Addis Ababa emerged as the top performer. The findings specifically highlighted that the reforms our city initiated in modernizing revenue and financial resource management are both effective and serve as a blueprint for other African cities.

This success is a testament to the effectiveness of our reform journey, through which we have allocated 71% of the city’s total revenue to development projects to ensure the sustainable benefit of our citizens.

The visiting mayors and participants will personally tour these reform projects today. Addis Ababa will share its extensive experience in building financial and revenue capacity and translating that capacity into tangible, transformative change.

This forum represents a historic opportunity for us to collectively shape the future of African cities.

Finally, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the UNECA for conducting this study and recognizing our city, as well as to the residents of Addis Ababa and my colleagues, who are the true owners of this achievement.

Addis Ababa will continue to be a symbol of African prosperity!

የሜላት በዚህ የዓለማችን ተፅዕኖ ፈጣሪ በሆነው ኮንግረስ ውስጥ መግባት እንደ አገር ለኢትዮጵያ እንደ ዜጋ ለኢትዮጵያውያን ከሚሰጠው ቀላል ያልሆነ ጥቅም ባሻገር ወደር የሌለው ኩራትና ክብር ያጎናፅፈናል።

በመሆኑም የሜላት ማሸነፍ የሁሉም ኢትዮጵያዊ አሽናፊነት መሆኑ በፍፁም አያጠራጥርም።

በውድድሩ አሸንፎ ለመውጣት ወሳኝ ከሆኑ ነገሮች አንዱ የፋይናንስ አቅም በመሆኑ በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ኢትዮጵያውያን ሁሉ አንድ ሆነን በአንድ ልብ ተነስተን እንደየአቅማችን በማዋጣት በሜላት አማካኝነት ኢትዮጵያ አገራችንን በዓለም መድረክ እናስጠራት።

በመላ ዓለም የምትገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ጋዜጠኞች ፣ የማህበራዊ ሚዲያ ተሳታፊዎች እና ተፅእኖ ፈጣሪዎች ሙሉ ትኩረታችሁን የሜላት ምርጫ ላይ በማድረግ እጅ ለእጅ ተያይዘን ኢትዮጵያን ወደ አሜሪካ ኮንግረስ እናስገባት።
