ተቋማቱ እንዳሉት እርምጃው የተወሰደው ከትራንስፖርት ደህንነት አስተዳደር (TSA) እና ከሌሎች የደህንነት አካላት ጋር በመተባበር በተካሄደ የአየር ክልል ጥበቃ ዘመቻ ነው።

በዓለም ዋንጫ ጨዋታዎች በሚካሄዱባቸው ቀናት በስታዲየሞች ዙሪያ በ3 ኖቲካል ማይል ራዲየስ እና እስከ 3,000 ጫማ ከፍታ ድረስ ማንኛውም የአየር ተሽከርካሪ ወይም ድሮን መብረር ተከልክሏል።

እንዲሁም በደጋፊዎች ፌስቲቫሎችና መሰብሰቢያ ቦታዎች ዙሪያ በ1 ኖቲካል ማይል ራዲየስ የበረራ እገዳ ተጥሏል። ይህን ጊዜያዊ የበረራ ክልከላ (TFR) የጣሱ ድሮኖች በቁጥጥር ስር እየዋሉ መሆኑ ተገልጿል።

በቴክሳስ ግዛት በሚገኘው AT&T Stadium ብቻ 39 ድሮኖች የበረራ ክልከላውን በመጣስ መያዛቸው ተገልጿል። በሌሎች ከተሞችም ተመሳሳይ ጥሰቶች መመዝገባቸው ተነግሯል።

ባለሥልጣናቱ እንዳስጠነቀቁት፣ በተከለከሉ የአየር ክልሎች ውስጥ ያለፍቃድ ድሮን የሚያበሩ ግለሰቦች ድሮናቸው ሊወረስ እንደሚችል፣ በወንጀል ክስ ሊጠየቁ እንደሚችሉ እና እስከ 100,000 ዶላር የሚደርስ ቅጣት ሊጣልባቸው እንደሚችል ገልጸዋል።

ይህ ታሪካዊ አዋጅ የወጣው በሰሜን አሜሪካ የኢትዮጵያውያን ስፖርትና ባህል ፌዴሬሽን (ESFNA) የሚኒሶታውን 43ኛ ዓመታዊ ኮንፈረንስና የስፖርት ውድድር በማስተናገድ ላይ ባለበት ወቅት ሲሆን፣ ውሳኔው በግዛቲቱ ለሚኖሩ የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ አባላት ትልቅ ኩራትና እውቅናን ያመጣ ሆኗል።

የፌዴሬሽኑ (ESFNA) የስራ አስፈፃሚዎች ባወጡት መግለጫ፣ ለተደረገላቸው ከፍተኛ ክብርና እውቅና ለሚኒሶታው ገዢ ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበዋል።

ይህ ታሪካዊ እውቅና የኢትዮጵያውያንን ደማቅ ባህል፣ ታሪክ እና በግዛቲቱ ውስጥ ያበረከቱትን ሁለንተናዊ አስተዋፅኦ ይበልጥ የሚያጎላ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
