(ZeHabesha News) Geopolitical tensions in the Horn of Africa have just reached a boiling point. The Sudanese government has officially accused Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of orchestrating a drone strike on Khartoum Airport this past Monday.
In a highly volatile joint press conference in Khartoum, top Sudanese officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Information, and the Armed Forces Spokesman, claimed they possess "conclusive evidence" regarding the attack. Most shockingly, the Sudanese government alleges that the Emirati drones used in the attack took off directly from Bahir Dar Airport in Ethiopia. They also claimed to have evidence of prior drone violations at the same location earlier this year.
Sudan has strongly asserted its absolute right to retaliate against this "aggression" at a time and place of its choosing.
What does this explosive allegation mean for the already fragile relations between Sudan, Ethiopia, and the UAE? Could this spark a broader regional conflict in the Horn of Africa?

600 ሰው የሚይዘው የኤምሬትስ አውሮፕላን 25 ተሳፋሪዎችን ብቻ ጭኖ በረረ
በቅርቡ የወጣ የብሉምበርግ ዘገባ እንደሚያመለክተው በመካከለኛው ምስራቅ ባለው ጦርነት ምክንያት የኤምሬትስ አየር መንገድ (Emirates) ከፍተኛ የተሳፋሪዎች ቁጥር መቀነስ እያጋጠመው ይገኛል።
በተለይም ከፓሪስ ወደ ዱባይ የተጓዘውና 600 ተሳፋሪዎችን የመያዝ አቅም ያለው ግዙፉ ኤርባስ ኤ380 (Airbus A380) አውሮፕላን የጫነው 25 ተሳፋሪዎችን ብቻ እንደነበር ተገልጿል።
በተመሳሳይ ከኒውዮርክ ወደ ዱባይ የተነሳው በረራም 35 ተሳፋሪዎችን ብቻ ይዞ ተጉዟል።
አየር መንገዱ በአሁኑ ወቅት ወደ 100 በሚጠጉ መዳረሻዎች በረራ እያደረገ ቢሆንም፣ በጦርነቱ ምክንያት የአየር ክልሎች መዘጋትና የተሳፋሪዎች "አለመገኘት" ትልቅ ተግዳሮት ሆኖበታል።

ተቃውሞው የጀመረው ታህሳስ 19 ቀን በቴህራን "ግራንድ ባዛር" የሀገሪቱ ገንዘብ (ሪያል) ዋጋ መርከስንና የኑሮ ውድነትን በመቃወም ሲሆን፣ አሁን ግን ወደ መንግስት ለውጥ ጥያቄ ተሸጋግሮ በመላ ሀገሪቱ ተስፋፍቷል።
