በአንድ ጎዳና ላይ እየተራመዱ ብዙ ቋንቋዎችን ከሠሙ በትክክልም እርስዎ ያሉት ቶሮንቶ ነው፤ምክንያቱ ደግሞ ከ170 በላይ ሀገሮች የሚኖሩባት ብቻ ሳይሆን የተለየ ቋንቋ የሚነገርባት ዓለምን በአንድ ቦታ ሠብስባ የያዘች ከተማ ናትና።

እንደ ደም ሥሮች ደምን ወደ ሰውነት ክፍሎች እንደሚያደርሱ ሁሉ TTC ሰዎችን ወደ ሥራ፣ ወደ ትምህርት ቤት፣ ወደ ሆስፒታል፣ ወደ ገበያ እና ወደ መዝናኛ ቦታዎች በየቀኑ በማመላለስ ህይወት በቶሮንቶ የቀለለ እንዲሆን እንዳደረገ በጉብኝታችን ወቅት ተረድተናል።

በቅርቡ የወጣ ጥናት እንደሌለ ነገር ግን የ2025ትን ጥናት መነሻ አድርጎ እንደ ነገረን አስጎብኚያችን MASHAAL መረጃ ከሆነነ የቶሮንቶን ከተማ ከጫፍ ጫፍ ለማገናኘት ማልደው የሚሠማሩት የTTC በእኛ ሀገር አጠራር የካናዳ አንበሳ አውቶቢስ አገልግሎት ከ2000 በላይ ቀይና ነጭ አውቶቢሶችን 250 የሚጠጉ ነኤሌክትሪክ፣ከ200 በላይ ረዣዥም ባሶችን ቶሮንቶ ትጠቀማለች።

የTTC የትራንስፖርት አገልግሎት ዘርፈ ብዙ ጥቅም እንዳለው ባይካድም ትራፊክን ይቀንሳል፣መኪና መግዛት፣ ነዳጅ መሙላት እና ፓርኪንግ መክፈል ከሚጠይቀው ወጪ ይልቅ ብዙ ጊዜ ይቀላል፤ሰዎች በቀላሉ ወደ ሥራ እና ወደ ንግድ ማዕከላት እንዲደርሱም ከማገዙም በላይ ለሁሉም ተደራሽ በመሆን በኩል መኪና የሌላቸው፣ ተማሪዎች፣ አረጋውያን እና አካል ጉዳተኞች ከተማው እንዳያገላቸው ይልቅ እንዲጠቀሙበት ትልቅ ዕድል ይሠጣል።ይህ ነፃና የተመቻቸ የትራንስፖርት ፍሠት ያለ TTC የባቡር አገልግሎት የተሳለጠ ይሆን ነበር ብሎ ለስህተት ይዳርጋል።ምክንያቱም የTTC ባቡር የትራንስፖርት አገልግሎት በዓመት ወደ ከ180 ሚሊዮን በላይ በቀን ደግሞ በየቀኑ ከ 690,000 በላይ ወይም 1ሚሊየን የሚጠጉ ሰዎችን ከአንደኛው የከተማው ጫፍ ወደ ሌላኛው ጫፍ በማመላለስ የቶሮንቶ የጀርባ አጥንት መሆኑን ጉብኝቴ አሳይቶኛል።

♦️በቶሮንቶ ከ110 ካሬ ኪ.ሜ. በላይ የሚሸፍን የተፈጥሮ ሸለቆዎች ያለባት ከተማ

አብዛኛው ሠው ስለ ቶሮንቶ ሲያስብ ከፊቱ ቀድሞ የሚመጣበት ወይም የካናዳና የቶሮንቶ መለያ አድርጎ የሚወስደው CN Tower ን ነው፤ከትናንቱ የሚዲያ ጉብኝቴ የተረዳሁት ትልቁ ቁምነገር ግን ቶሮንቶን ከሌሎች ትልልቅ ከተሞች የሚለየው የRavine System (የተፈጥሮ ሸለቆዎች አውታረ መረብ) ያለበት ከተማ መሆኑ ነው እላለሁ።ከላይ ለማነሳት እንደሞከርኩት ብዙ ሰዎች ስለቶሮንቶ ሲያስቡ የመጀመሪያው የሚያስታውሱት CN Tower ን ነው፣ ነገር ግን የቶሮንቶ እውነተኛ ልዩነት በከተማው መሃል ውስጥ የሚያልፉ የተፈጥሮ ሸለቆዎች መኖራቸውን ስንቶቻችን እናውቃለን?በሚገርማችሁ ሁኔታ በከተማው ውስጥ በአጠቃላይ 110 ካሬ ኪ.ሜ. የሚሸፍን የሸለቆ ስርዓት አለ፤

ይህ ደግሞ የከተማውን 17% በላይ እንደሚሸፍን የአስጎብኚያችን መረጃ ይጠቁማል፤በዓለም ላይ ቀከተማ ውስጥ ካሉ የሸለቆ ስርዓቶች ትልቁ በመሆንም ቶሮንቶን ከፊት ያስቀምጣታል።ስለዚህ በቶሮንቶ አንድ ሰው በዳውንታውን ውስጥ ያሉ ቁመተ መለሎ ሠማይ ጠቀስ ፎቆች መካከል ሲሆን ከ10 ደቂቃ በኋላ በዱር ውስጥ እንዳለ ሊሰማው ቢችል አይፈረድበትም፤ይሄንን የታዘቡ ደግሞ ቶሮንቶን “city within a park” (በፓርክ ውስጥ ያለች ከተማ) ብለው እስከመግለፅ የተገደዱት።

ቶሮንቶ ሰማይን የሚነኩ ሕንፃዎችና የተፈጥሮ ዱር በአንድ ቦታ የሚገናኙባት ከተማ መሆኗ በእርግጥም የተለየች ከተማ የሚል ስያሜ እንዲሠጣት ያስገድዳል።።

Ethio telecom CEO, Frehiwot Tamru, held a high-level strategic engagement with Excellency Mr. Solomon Quaynor S, Vice President of the African Development Bank, together with senior AfDB management, to review the ongoing partnership and collaborative engagements aimed at supporting the execution of Ethio telecom’s transformative “Next Horizon: Digital & Beyond 2028” strategy and Ethiopia’s broader digital transformation journey.
