የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ በባህር ዳር ደጃዝማች በላይ ዘለቀ ዓለም አቀፍ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያ በ4.1 ቢሊዮን ብር ወጪ ያስገነባው ዘመናዊ የመንገደኞች ማስተናገጃ ተርሚናል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ (ዶ/ር) በተገኙበት ዛሬ ተመርቋል።

ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ መስፍን ጣሰው በዚሁ ወቅት እንዳሉት፣ ባህር ዳር ከቀድሞው የጎጃም ክፍለ ሀገር እስከ አሁኑ የአማራ ክልል ዋና ከተማነቷ ላሳየችው ዕድገት ከ60 ዓመታት በፊት ወደ ከተማዋ በረራ የጀመረው የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ የላቀ ሚና ተጫውቷል።

ይህ በ8 ሺህ 300 ካሬ ሜትር ቦታ ላይ ያረፈው እና ጠቅላላ የወለል ስፋቱ 11 ሺህ 170 ካሬ ሜትር የሆነው አዲሱ ተርሚናል፣ ከቦሌ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያ ቀጥሎ ትልቁ የሀገር ውስጥ ተርሚናል መሆኑን አቶ መስፍን ጠቅሰዋል።

ተርሚናሉ በአንድ ጊዜ እስከ 700 መንገደኞችን የማስተናገድ አቅም ያለው ሲሆን፣ ሰፊ የቪአይፒ ሳሎኖችን፣ የክቡር መንገደኞች ላውንጆችን እና ምግብ ቤቶችን ጭምር ያካተተ መሆኑንም አክለዋል።

በተደረገለት የኤፕሮን ማስፋፊያ አሁን ላይ በአንድ ጊዜ እንደ ቦይንግ 777 ያሉ 4 ትላልቅ እና እንደ ቦይንግ 737 ያሉ 6 መለስተኛ አውሮፕላኖችን ማቆም የሚያስችል አቅም ያለው ተርሚናሉ፣ ወደፊት በትንሽ ማስተካከያ ዓለም አቀፍ እና የሀገር ውስጥ መንገደኞችን በተጓዳኝ ማስተናገድ ይችላል ብለዋል።

አየር መንገዱ ወደ ባህር ዳር በቀን እስከ 14 የበረራ ምልልሶችን እንደሚያደርግ ጠቅሰው፤ የተርሚናሉ መገንባት በክልሉ ቱሪዝም፣ ንግድና ኢንቨስትመንት እንዲስፋፋ ከማድረግ ባሻገር ከተማዋ የኮንፈረንስች ማዕከል እንድትሆን ያግዛል ብለዋል።

አየር መንገዱ ባለፈው አንድ ዓመት ውስጥ አራት አዳዲስ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያዎችን ገንብቶ አገልግሎት ላይ ማዋሉን እና አምስተኛው በመቱ በሚመጡት ሁለት ወራት ውስጥ እንደሚጠናቀቅ ገልጸው፤ የቢሾፍቱ ዓለም አቀፍ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያ ግንባታም በታቀደለት የጊዜ ሰሌዳ እየተፋጠነ መሆኑን አረጋግጠዋል።

ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚው ለፕሮጀክቱ ስኬት የላቀ አስተዋጽኦ ላደረጉት ለጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ (ዶር) እና ለኢፌዴሪ መንግሥት እንዲሁም ለቻይናው ሳኢኖ ሃይድሮ፣ ለአማካሪው ዳር አልሀንዳሳ፣ ለአየር መንገዱ መሀንዲሶች፣ ለአማራ ክልል እና ለባህር ዳር ከተማ አስተዳደር ልባዊ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል።
